This was a good, tightly written episode that I really enjoyed. That they tied it to the war and soldiers gave it added poignancy and depth.
Wow, this was some charged episode, fraught with action, emotion, fear, worry and feels galore. We ran the gamut along with the brothers.
“The Long Black Road” playing over The Road So Far was perfect. I loved the montage. It was one of my faves thus far and fit well with Dean’s current struggle against the Mark.
Given that this was the lead into hellatus, I wasn’t left as excited as I have been in the past, I must admit. Still, there were lots of good things in this ep, so let’s get to them.
