(Photo of Misha Collins courtesy of Fangasm. Follow them at @FangasmSPN for more!) Just in case you haven’t noticed, there’s a pretty big “Supernatural” convention happening in Vancouver this weekend. It’s Creation Entertainment’s annual Salute to Supernatural Vancouver, and WFB writers Tigershire, Far Away Eyes, and Bardicvoice have been there having all the fun. No,…
I’m baaaack! Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. It’s been so long since I wrote part 2, I’ve already got my tickets for Vegascon 2014! I got to keep the same epic seat. How exciting! Share on FacebookTweetFollow usSave
This article takes you along on the 2012 Location Tour with locations manager Russ Hamilton. While we clearly went to some locations that are being used in season 8 – heck, Supernatural reuses so many locations that it would be impossible to avoid that, and we saw a glimpse of Purgatory at the end of…
From June 1-4, 2023, I spent 3.5 wonderful days with my SPNFamily at the Chicago Supernatural convention. The convention is now officially called “The Road So Far…The Road Ahead” because, in addition to the usual immersion into all things Supernatural, panels have branched out to include cast members of Jared and Jensen’s post-Supernatural shows, Walker and The…
Editor’s Note: Supernatural conventions are very special weekend events when fans can meet and mingle with each other and the cast of Supernatural. Bettina attended her first Supernatural convention in June. She is very excited to share with you her account of the fun, accompanied by her wonderful pictures! Start at Part 1 of the…
Here’s my report on this afternoon’s Jared and Jensen panel at the Salute to Supernatural in San Francisco. It was a great panel, although a bit more low key than others I’ve seen. I’m not complaining though by any means. Here’s the details that I could get while taking notes during the panel, so pardon…
Thanks Alice! I have day one and day two posted now.
Great report Tigershire, to think you thought it would be nothing but a mumble…nary a mumble or drooly bit in sight. Sounds like a great first day, lots of fun and I’m glad there’s a new Q&A format…I only ever catch glimpses here and there on the web or via reports but the incessant inanity of some of the questions never ceases to amaze. Good for someone to take a stand on that. I also think it’s fair there’s no recording, I mean, it’s great to view some of the vids but truth is people pay a lot of money to go and then some of us get to watch stuff free…’tis fair.
I’ll be looking forward to your next series of posts.
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks Elle2. I credit my ability to recall and transcribe with the fact that I seemed to have gotten my head around the whole event and my nerves went away. I still wasn’t brave enough to say, get up to the mike to ask a question, but meeting them all no longer held any fear or nerves. It was AWESOME and enabled me to recall events enough to recount them.
Day 2 is up and I’m hoping to do Day 3 tonight but it’s late and I have a bit of paperwork to do. So could be there….but definitely tomorrow for sure.
Okey dokey – I think I have finished. I completed Day 3 – Part 2 at 2 am and posted it.
Folks are more than welcome to leave comments on my blog as well, or ask me questions and I will compile them into a post to answer them.
But really, I’m just please folks want to read what I have to say and I want to say another HUGE Thank You to Alice for posting my link here, I have gotten a ton of traffic to my site because of it.
Thank you so much Tigershire. Loved reading your experiences at the con.
Love the boys and all the wonderful characters on the show. It must be a happy workplace on the Supernatural set. They’re all so cool!
