IT’S J DAY! All photos are taken by me. Truth is, I come to these conventions for many reasons, but the main reason is to see the boys and if truth be known, one specific boy”or man”MANLY MAN (I mean these boys are in the 30’s after all!). Normally the Js are on…

Introduction Boy, this will be a long one! That is probably the sentence I will hear after this story, but it has been a great effort to get to this point so it is all worth it. When I finally got to watch and totally was drawn into Supernatural’s world and I heard…

When we last left off, Jared and Misha were on the stage together braving the fan questions… (Part one can be found here.) The next person up is the one who asked Jared how much he bench pressed at the breakfast and Misha teases about that. He calls it the least expected question from someone like…

In Part 1 of my Supernatural convention reports, I described why I thought Osric Chau was the heart of this year’s Chicago convention (Richard declared that Osric was the convention’s “#1 Fan”). (Osric’s jacket during his panel. I didn’t have a copy of this picture at the time I wrote Osric’s story, but Alesia…

If you’ve been following The Winchester Family Business‘ “Breathtaking Photos” series, you know that I’ve had this idea for a while. What if I put together a series of our favorite photos of Supernatural‘s lead stars and characters? I’m not talking about the good pictures, or even the really good pictures, because, let’s be honest,…

Supernatural conventions are emotional, exuberant experiences. Every fan who attends leaves with their own unique memories. Each impression of the convention is a combination of factors, such as whether the attendee is a rookie or veteran, is meeting friends or attending solo (Farawayeyes discussed this aspect of conventions in her recent MinnCon reflection), and on…
Thanks Alice! I have day one and day two posted now.
Great report Tigershire, to think you thought it would be nothing but a mumble…nary a mumble or drooly bit in sight. Sounds like a great first day, lots of fun and I’m glad there’s a new Q&A format…I only ever catch glimpses here and there on the web or via reports but the incessant inanity of some of the questions never ceases to amaze. Good for someone to take a stand on that. I also think it’s fair there’s no recording, I mean, it’s great to view some of the vids but truth is people pay a lot of money to go and then some of us get to watch stuff free…’tis fair.
I’ll be looking forward to your next series of posts.
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks Elle2. I credit my ability to recall and transcribe with the fact that I seemed to have gotten my head around the whole event and my nerves went away. I still wasn’t brave enough to say, get up to the mike to ask a question, but meeting them all no longer held any fear or nerves. It was AWESOME and enabled me to recall events enough to recount them.
Day 2 is up and I’m hoping to do Day 3 tonight but it’s late and I have a bit of paperwork to do. So could be there….but definitely tomorrow for sure.
Okey dokey – I think I have finished. I completed Day 3 – Part 2 at 2 am and posted it.
Folks are more than welcome to leave comments on my blog as well, or ask me questions and I will compile them into a post to answer them.
But really, I’m just please folks want to read what I have to say and I want to say another HUGE Thank You to Alice for posting my link here, I have gotten a ton of traffic to my site because of it.
Thank you so much Tigershire. Loved reading your experiences at the con.
Love the boys and all the wonderful characters on the show. It must be a happy workplace on the Supernatural set. They’re all so cool!
