Supernatural’s San Diego Comic-Con 2019 Hall H Panel. If you’re in the #SPNFamily, you know all the emotions that were tied up in that last, momentous gathering of Supernatural’s cast, executive producers and fans of the longest running science fiction/fantasy show in America. From my research, I contend that Supernatural is the longest consecutively running…
Jim Beaver was the first guest of the day and he was in great spirits. He had just finished working through a long autograph line and he was ready to take on all our burning questions. All in all, these ended up being great questions and Jim gave some great answers. Share on FacebookTweetFollow usSaveAlice…
Raider of the Lost Convention Conventions? Why did it have to be conventions? The name’s Jones. Jasminka Jones. I wish! I am preparing for one of the most unusual undertakings of my life: attending a Supernatural Convention. A European adventuress and a human psyche’s archaeologist I am equipped with leather jacket, gorgeous heels…
Hey everyone, I’m having a great time at Comic Con! More reports are coming soon, but in the meantime, a few people on Twitter wanted to know what I heard in The Vampire Diaries press room. Here is what I remember off the cuff without going through transcripts. If you squint hard enough, there might…
After 10 years of attending Supernatural conventions in Chicago, the excitement on Sunday morning for “J2 Day” hasn’t waned in the slightest. The early wake-up call for Jared and Jensen’s gold ticket holders’ private panel is a tough reminder of those extra years that have passed since my initiation to this exclusive event, but no…
Do you know the story of “Brigadoon”? It is one of my favorite movies of all time. It’s a love story that takes place in a mysterious Scottish village that only materializes one day every hundred years. It’s a magical place, sheltered from the realities of the outside world. The villagers are very close to…
Thanks Alice! I have day one and day two posted now.
Great report Tigershire, to think you thought it would be nothing but a mumble…nary a mumble or drooly bit in sight. Sounds like a great first day, lots of fun and I’m glad there’s a new Q&A format…I only ever catch glimpses here and there on the web or via reports but the incessant inanity of some of the questions never ceases to amaze. Good for someone to take a stand on that. I also think it’s fair there’s no recording, I mean, it’s great to view some of the vids but truth is people pay a lot of money to go and then some of us get to watch stuff free…’tis fair.
I’ll be looking forward to your next series of posts.
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks Elle2. I credit my ability to recall and transcribe with the fact that I seemed to have gotten my head around the whole event and my nerves went away. I still wasn’t brave enough to say, get up to the mike to ask a question, but meeting them all no longer held any fear or nerves. It was AWESOME and enabled me to recall events enough to recount them.
Day 2 is up and I’m hoping to do Day 3 tonight but it’s late and I have a bit of paperwork to do. So could be there….but definitely tomorrow for sure.
Okey dokey – I think I have finished. I completed Day 3 – Part 2 at 2 am and posted it.
Folks are more than welcome to leave comments on my blog as well, or ask me questions and I will compile them into a post to answer them.
But really, I’m just please folks want to read what I have to say and I want to say another HUGE Thank You to Alice for posting my link here, I have gotten a ton of traffic to my site because of it.
Thank you so much Tigershire. Loved reading your experiences at the con.
Love the boys and all the wonderful characters on the show. It must be a happy workplace on the Supernatural set. They’re all so cool!
