Sunday: Well I have to say I thought I was excited yesterday but today. OMG! Now I’m starting to panic, am I going to act my age or am I going to make a complete fool of myself. I guess we will find out. When I got there I headed to the vendors…

(Photo courtesy of @FangasmSPN) Miss part 1 and 2 of my reports? Just follow the links! Friday Report Saturday Report Pittsburgh con certainly opened my eyes about one thing. Everyday we send out tweets and deliver messages about some sort of charitable cause that’s happening in our fandom. With all the noise I admit to…

It isn’t often I get to do the Gold ticket thing when I go to these conventions, but when an opportunity came up to get one, in a warmer locale during a winter season, I was there! This morning I attended the Gold Ticket Members breakfast, where the honored guests were none other than…

If I Could Ask Supernatural Questions At Paley … Come Sunday afternoon, I’ll be one of the many indistinguishable faces in the crowd at the Saban Theatre eagerly awaiting the screening of an episode of Supernatural (and I’m expecting it to be one we’ve already seen [maybe “The French Mistake?”], not a new one this…

Today I’m kicking off what I’m calling “Con week,” as in Fan Convention, not ex. As many of you know, I’m getting ready to attend this weekend’s “Salute To Supernatural” convention in Chicago (at least Saturday and Sunday). Considering this week’s episode is a weird story that takes place at a Supernatural convention, I’m going to ride…

If you missed the first part of my report, it can be found here: For the next panel, I attended “Saving People: Supernatural and Social Issues”. This panel was chaired by Nightsky. She shared her story about how finding Supernatural led to a second career that she never expected, writer. I know Nightsky has shared…
Thanks Alice! I have day one and day two posted now.
Great report Tigershire, to think you thought it would be nothing but a mumble…nary a mumble or drooly bit in sight. Sounds like a great first day, lots of fun and I’m glad there’s a new Q&A format…I only ever catch glimpses here and there on the web or via reports but the incessant inanity of some of the questions never ceases to amaze. Good for someone to take a stand on that. I also think it’s fair there’s no recording, I mean, it’s great to view some of the vids but truth is people pay a lot of money to go and then some of us get to watch stuff free…’tis fair.
I’ll be looking forward to your next series of posts.
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks Elle2. I credit my ability to recall and transcribe with the fact that I seemed to have gotten my head around the whole event and my nerves went away. I still wasn’t brave enough to say, get up to the mike to ask a question, but meeting them all no longer held any fear or nerves. It was AWESOME and enabled me to recall events enough to recount them.
Day 2 is up and I’m hoping to do Day 3 tonight but it’s late and I have a bit of paperwork to do. So could be there….but definitely tomorrow for sure.
Okey dokey – I think I have finished. I completed Day 3 – Part 2 at 2 am and posted it.
Folks are more than welcome to leave comments on my blog as well, or ask me questions and I will compile them into a post to answer them.
But really, I’m just please folks want to read what I have to say and I want to say another HUGE Thank You to Alice for posting my link here, I have gotten a ton of traffic to my site because of it.
Thank you so much Tigershire. Loved reading your experiences at the con.
Love the boys and all the wonderful characters on the show. It must be a happy workplace on the Supernatural set. They’re all so cool!
