Oh man, was Jim Beaver a sight for sore eyes. Forget the fact that I’m already missing Bobby terribly. We haven’t seen Jim at one of these cons for a while either. He’s always been someone the crowd loves and his presence was most welcomed. This panel was thoroughly entertaining but if there’s one…

So yeah. I pretty much fly around the world…well over the Pacific…just for this guy. I don’t even remember how it started. Well, I guess it started with Dean and blossomed into Jensen. The more I found out about him, the more I dug him. Of course now, I’ve met him a few times and…
The Eloquent Mr. Jensen Ackles This weekend I attended my first SPN convention, and it was a blast! So many nice people and wonderful experiences, panels, photo ops (I swear they should sell seats to them…they are a RIOT!), autographs and watching ‘The Third Man’ with a group of about 30 fans Saturday evening!…

For part one of my con report, Friday and Saturday, go here: https://www.thewinchesterfamilybusiness.com/articles/33-con-reports/17899-con-report-salute-to-supernatural-new-jersey-2013-friday-and-saturday.html Sunday at New Jersey con, aka J&J day. My day started with a text message from Stimtastic Appie. Everything was running behind because Jared and Jensen got stuck in Manhattan because of a bike race. You mean the bike race…
Thanks Alice! I have day one and day two posted now.
Great report Tigershire, to think you thought it would be nothing but a mumble…nary a mumble or drooly bit in sight. Sounds like a great first day, lots of fun and I’m glad there’s a new Q&A format…I only ever catch glimpses here and there on the web or via reports but the incessant inanity of some of the questions never ceases to amaze. Good for someone to take a stand on that. I also think it’s fair there’s no recording, I mean, it’s great to view some of the vids but truth is people pay a lot of money to go and then some of us get to watch stuff free…’tis fair.
I’ll be looking forward to your next series of posts.
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks Elle2. I credit my ability to recall and transcribe with the fact that I seemed to have gotten my head around the whole event and my nerves went away. I still wasn’t brave enough to say, get up to the mike to ask a question, but meeting them all no longer held any fear or nerves. It was AWESOME and enabled me to recall events enough to recount them.
Day 2 is up and I’m hoping to do Day 3 tonight but it’s late and I have a bit of paperwork to do. So could be there….but definitely tomorrow for sure.
Okey dokey – I think I have finished. I completed Day 3 – Part 2 at 2 am and posted it.
Folks are more than welcome to leave comments on my blog as well, or ask me questions and I will compile them into a post to answer them.
But really, I’m just please folks want to read what I have to say and I want to say another HUGE Thank You to Alice for posting my link here, I have gotten a ton of traffic to my site because of it.
Thank you so much Tigershire. Loved reading your experiences at the con.
Love the boys and all the wonderful characters on the show. It must be a happy workplace on the Supernatural set. They’re all so cool!
