We’ve spent the first half of the season in lively discussion of Sam’s arc, the brother’s relationship and what the angels are up to.
Now as we suffer through the hellatus, it’s time to delve into the really deep issues….
Is season 8 the Best.Sam.Hair.Ever?
Does Dean look better with blood and grime on his face or freshly showered?
Could Castiel’s eyes be any bluer?
Whether it’s Sam’s bulging biceps, Dean’s precious smattering of school-girl freckles, or Cass’ flawless profile. Maybe Bobby’s beard did it for you, Garth’s sparkling personality, or the way Chuck wore that bathrobe. 3. Thor!Sam: As an Avengers fan, I loved this.
4. Any shot of Dean in Purgatory.
5. Just the sound of Benny’s voice .
6. Dean carrying a tiny teacup in the MoL Bunker while wearing his bathrobe. Not sure what episode that was.
7. Several shots of Sam in Sacrifice. That distressed look is just hawt.

I wonder if I can add something new to what has been already said on the topic. There’ve been hundreds of posts, and people are so observant!
Cas’s carriage and gait – he moves (levitates) like a dancer listening to silent music of heaven.
Sam’s special smile. First time it was in Sex and Violence when during that businesslike talk to the lady doctor she suddenly makes him an offer, and this small smile appears on his face, and all of a sudden he looks so adult and sexy, and somewhat powerful, dangerous. I don’t know if anybody remembers, but I was impressed. Since then, however boyish Sam looked I couldn’t help but to see that inner steel in him.
Dean – I love Dean, even this stupid forelock of his! Anybody mentioned the forelock? This face was created to be objectified. 😉

Although ultimately I think I would prefer it to be near his heart again. I guess I am the only one who would like to see the scene where he has it done? No? Well, then what about this? –
….Sam takes his shirt off then relaxes back on to a recliner and gets into position. He shows the tattoo artist what tattoo he wants and where… This of course can be most easily accomplished by asking his brother for a favour and showing them Dean’s chest. Then I would picture a time lapsed summary of the creation of said tattoo. (Do you think, afterwards if not during, Sam might make the most of the comfortable position by leaning back with his hands behind his head and close his eyes for a nap? ) …I suppose when it is finished the tatt would either have to be covered with a clean dressing or maybe wrapped in cling film (pause) …
