The WFB Supernatural Season 8 Awards – Fans’ Choice
Most Tear-Jerking “Supernatural” Season 8 Moment
Winner
Sam sharing his childhood memories about being unclean and how the trials are purifying him – “The Great Escapist”
Runner-up
Sam’s response of “So?” when Dean tells him finishing the trials will kill him – “Sacrifice”
Super close runner-up
Dean’s prayer to Castiel – “Remember the Titans”
This category was much closer, for when it comes to Winchester feels, we’re suckers. I’m actually shocked this wasn’t a six way tie! No, our winner ran away with the category, but second place was very close. There were some votes too for the teary Dean and Benny farewell, but Charlie reading to her mother at the end of “Pac-Man Fever” and Sam and Dean failing to save Sarah in “Clip Show” just couldn’t compete.
Best Brotherly Bonding S8 Scene
Winner
The ending scene in the Men of Letters bunker, brothers contently toasting each other with fine scotch – “Everybody Hates Hitler”
Runner-up
Once the first two were decided, the other options weren’t even close. The brotherly hug in “Pac-Man Fever,” Sam’s speech at the end of “Trial and Error,” and Dean’s grateful hug after Sam returns from Purgatory in “Taxi Driver” just didn’t offer the brotherly impact as much as our winner and runner-up. They’re quite fitting too, since one makes us smile and the other makes us cry. Leave it to those Winchesters to keep us emotionally engaged.
Best Supernatural Season 8 “Kick it in the ass” moment
Dean captures Crowley with demonic handcuffs, they exchange punches – “Sacrifice”
Runner-up
Think about it, “Kick It In The Ass” just screams Dean Winchester, doesn’t it? Although, a few votes were also thrown Sam’s way with his hair flowing Thor hammer toss in “What’s Up Tiger Mommy?”.
Managed at least one vote. Dean’s guilt over leaving Castiel in Purgatory, even though he didn’t.
Oh, that was me! And I proudly stand by my single vote!
Oh man, even today……
You go, girl!
I voted for “Pac-Man Fever” as an episode and as scenes several times, including the “Tearjerker” award. Idk, I guess that episode touched me. Still, I think I voted for Benny over Charlie for best Guest Character. It’s fun and intriguing seeing the results of the polls!
you are right,:))))
