The WFB Supernatural Season 8 Awards – Fans’ Choice
Best “Supernatural” Season 8 Guest Star
Winner
Felicia Day
Runner-up
This is the one and only time that someone got zero votes. John Reardon, who played Prometheus in “Remember The Titans,” actually got multiple votes in the nomination process. I guess all those people who voted for him there changed their minds when seeing the choices. It was nice to see that at least 4 and 3 people respectively remembered US TV legendaries Hal Linden and Mike Farrell. But honestly, it wasn’t even a contest. Felicia and Ty were clearly the fan favorites this year. Better luck next year DJ Qualls!
Best Ending to a “Supernatural” Season 8 Episode
It’s raining angels – “Sacrifice”
Runner-up
Sam’s heartfelt speech of encouragement to Dean just before doubling over in agony from completing the trial – “Trial and Error”
Third place (getting listed only because it’s the one I voted for)
The freeze frame: wig, leather pants, ponytails and all – “LARP and The Real Girl”
I’m very stunned that the ending of Charlie reading one last time to her mother in “Pac-Man Fever” only got nine votes. That one was a very popular ending during the nomination process. Otherwise, the results weren’t too surprising. I’m still picking my jaw up off the floor over the angels falling at the end of “Sacrifice.”
Worst Ending to a S8 Episode
Winner
Sam’s flashback to Amelia celebrating his birthday – “Heartache”
Runner-up
The boring, redundant conversation between Sam and Dean – “Freaks and Geeks”
This was the least popular voting category by far, only clocking 253 votes total. “Heartache” easily ran away with it, and only “Freaks and Geeks” got anything close to a decent grouping of votes. The rest you all didn’t seem to mind. Given the winners, sounds like there weren’t many bad endings this year.
Managed at least one vote. Dean’s guilt over leaving Castiel in Purgatory, even though he didn’t.
Oh, that was me! And I proudly stand by my single vote!
Oh man, even today……
You go, girl!
I voted for “Pac-Man Fever” as an episode and as scenes several times, including the “Tearjerker” award. Idk, I guess that episode touched me. Still, I think I voted for Benny over Charlie for best Guest Character. It’s fun and intriguing seeing the results of the polls!
you are right,:))))
