Hello again! It’s finally time for the thrilling conclusion to my convention adventures. To refresh your memories, during the first weekend of September I ventured into the strange and wonderful world of the FanX Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. Part 1 of my report covers Thursday’s guests and our excursion into the vendor’s area. Part 2 talked about…
Here it is a week and a half later and I'm still processing Comic-Con stuff, mostly for TV For The Rest of Us (and perhaps a few other outlets). For now though, I have several more photos and stories about "Supernatural" and other misc items to share. No spoilers! Just pure fun. 🙂 Share on…
You may have noticed, but there seems to be a lot of Supernatural conventions going on lately. It’s con season! (Kind of like rabbit season but with more pretty). I’ve already reported on Jus In Bello in Rome and Asylum 6 in England, but two more happened over the last two weeks that I’ve failed…
After having to settle for a poster from the vendor’s room at last year’s Van Con, I decided to take matters into my own hands. The poster itself was cool, don’t get me wrong—but it just didn’t seem to represent me as a fan. I wanted something a bit more significant. And so, if I…
Supernatural #SPNNJ 2018 Convention– Secaucus, NJ It was Supernatural’s 100th Convention, but for my daughter Allyson and me it was our first Supernatural con. We’ve attended other cons from a different series but never Supernatural. I will do a little comparison between the cons after telling you all about Supernatural‘s! Thanks Alice! I have day one and day two posted now.
Great report Tigershire, to think you thought it would be nothing but a mumble…nary a mumble or drooly bit in sight. Sounds like a great first day, lots of fun and I’m glad there’s a new Q&A format…I only ever catch glimpses here and there on the web or via reports but the incessant inanity of some of the questions never ceases to amaze. Good for someone to take a stand on that. I also think it’s fair there’s no recording, I mean, it’s great to view some of the vids but truth is people pay a lot of money to go and then some of us get to watch stuff free…’tis fair.
I’ll be looking forward to your next series of posts.
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks Elle2. I credit my ability to recall and transcribe with the fact that I seemed to have gotten my head around the whole event and my nerves went away. I still wasn’t brave enough to say, get up to the mike to ask a question, but meeting them all no longer held any fear or nerves. It was AWESOME and enabled me to recall events enough to recount them.
Day 2 is up and I’m hoping to do Day 3 tonight but it’s late and I have a bit of paperwork to do. So could be there….but definitely tomorrow for sure.
Okey dokey – I think I have finished. I completed Day 3 – Part 2 at 2 am and posted it.
Folks are more than welcome to leave comments on my blog as well, or ask me questions and I will compile them into a post to answer them.
But really, I’m just please folks want to read what I have to say and I want to say another HUGE Thank You to Alice for posting my link here, I have gotten a ton of traffic to my site because of it.
Thank you so much Tigershire. Loved reading your experiences at the con.
Love the boys and all the wonderful characters on the show. It must be a happy workplace on the Supernatural set. They’re all so cool!
