Promo Photos: Supernatural Episode 8.18
Well, I’m still skeptical about the story, but anything that has a tied up Winchester works for me! Especially when the other brother is waving a gun. There’s definitely some eye candy. Enjoy!

While I would be jumping for joy to have seen Ian Tracey back as Lee Chambers, the thought of a bunch of TV trope mini-Winchester baby vampire slayers leaves me cold. There’s already been one teen drama episode this season.
Dean is up and Sam is tied down. Again. I swear, if Chrissy saves them again I’m going to scream.
I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Master Hunter Krissy saving three experienced hunters.
Just to clarify my comment. I don’t have a problem with Sam tied down and Dean in the rescue. I don’t if Dean saves Sam or vice versa, or how many times one saves the other. My problem is that this scene looks too much like the one CHRISSY saved all the hunters. I have a problem with the Chrissy part.
I can argue that Chrissy saved nobody, she appeared in the wrong moment when Dean had everything under control and almost got all of them killed. She acted like a brat and an idiot, not a ‘savior’, but still earned the title. I don’t know why.
But I’d like to forget that. Please, please, writers, do not replay that scene. 😡
I would have much preferred to see Chrissy’s father back again, rather than Chrissy who I didn’t like so much. It’s such a shame that they killed him off.
On a positive note I kind of love that pic of Sam tied up with Dean standing infront and waving his gun. 🙂
This is opening a whole can of worms for me but I’ll only convey it part way. My issue related to this future episode is Chrissy, Garth, Kevin, Charlie…characters brought back in from seasons 6, 7. Nothing against them but I have to ask, ‘What about more Jody, Tamara (from s3), etc?…’
A story about, the Winchester boys running into, say Haley for example (from Wendigo) who became a hunter as a result of her experience would be awesome. Many from s1-5 came into contact with Sam and Dean, supernatural stuff-its hard to think not one of them was influenced somehow like they showed that woman from repo man was.
Would love to see more connection of s8 with s1-5, and not just being told they were from before (Man’s Best Friend with Benefits) but an actual character from the actual past episodes. If that HAD happened, I could have happily written my list to add to Alice’s top ten favorite things.
I feel such a disconnect (except with Crowley, Meg, Castiel. Martin of course) with S8 and the first five seasons….I don’t know, maybe its just me but if they bring back people like Charlie, why not Sarah Blake?
Sorry, I keep hitting post too soon…if a romantic interest is too much out of the question, then what about Missouri? or Haley’s younger brother?
Sam is tired up again. So the writers went the tired route of Sam being comepletly in teh wrong. AGAIN. Tell me why Sam is still hunting? MAybe so Sams ineptitude and bad instincts can fill Deans need to save or fix Sam to prop his supposed low self esteem.
The actress who played Sarah Blake in S1 is on another show…currently involved in a triangle with the main lead couple.
Since it looks like they are taking the lines that the trials will physically hamper Sam – spitting up blood, winded while digging up a grave, etc. – we will probably see him more as the “damsel is distress” as the season goes along. Last season he got to suffer mental anguish with the hellucinations which eventually brought on physical issues. This season it is hopefully just going to effect his physical abilities – like a human fighting a wasting disease. Viewers wanted more of a story for Sam and now he has one – we just have to watch the consequences that occur because of that. If that means Dean has moved to protector/savior mode – I’m all for it. This feels like a story that I can get behind and really want to see how it turns out. 😀
Sam is ALWAYS the damsel in distress and Dean is ALWAYS the savior. Whicdh of course marginalizes Sam since he can’t /isn’t allowed to have a role in saving hi8mself. Its truely nothing we haven’t already seen in the past 6 years.
wow I know and I am really getting sick of this too that I really do not care anymore what happens.
‘ALWAYS’?? I do not agree !!
