aka this is not right.

I am at a loss for words. As you can guess it was pretty easy to choose the topic of this video of the week. While "Dark Dynasty" was entertaining and I enjoyed it quite a bit, the ending left me speechless and quite literally horrified. That is when things broke apart.

I must confess that I wasn't an ultimate fan to Charlie but like in many shows, the bigger picture is what matters, that is what Ellen, Jo, Kevin, Bobby and Charlie (among others) mean for the boys. They are their friends and even regarded as family. They are people who help to keep the brothers together, to have other people in their lives - more than just one another. These people have their own parts to play in Sam and Dean's life. Because of that, it is actually still hard for me to write this at the moment just a few hours after when the episode aired. Charlie meant a lot to many people also outside the show and her passing away has been mourned a lot in fandom.

It is always tragic when parts of the brother's lives are taken away like this and it doesn't get easier when those people sacrifice everything to help the brothers to fight in the twisted world of Supernatural. In the aftermath of the episode, Charlie's passing received very strong reactions because her story and her time with Sam and Dean was valued.

Like one fan wrote: "She died for Dean, for her brothers, for her family. She got her quest, she cracked the code, she died a hero. I don't think she would have wanted it any other way."

I would add to that list the world, because if there is a cure she also would have helped to save the world from the legacy of Cain when it is used...but it would not lessen the pain her death caused.

Rest in peace Charlie.

Sometimes tho there is also light at the end of the tunnel so I do hope this is not the last we see Charlie.

"In this line of work death isn't always goodbye." Sam Winchester, "Angel Heart"

Charlie Bradbury || Brave made by Jo Kermath

Brave by Sara Bareilles

You can be amazing
You can turn a phrase into a weapon or a drug
You can be the outcast
Or be the backlash of somebody’s lack of love
Or you can start speaking up

Nothing’s gonna hurt you the way that words do
When they settle ‘neath your skin
Kept on the inside and no sunlight
Sometimes a shadow wins
But I wonder what would happen if you

Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave
With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

Everybody’s been there,
Everybody’s been stared down by the enemy
Fallen for the fear
And done some disappearing,
Bow down to the mighty
Don’t run, just stop holding your tongue

Maybe there’s a way out of the cage where you live
Maybe one of these days you can let the light in
Show me how big your brave is

Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave
With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

And since your history of silence
Won’t do you any good,
Did you think it would?
Let your words be anything but empty
Why don’t you tell them the truth?

Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave
With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
See you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you'

""Brave" is a song by American singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, taken from her fourth studio album, The Blessed Unrest (2013). The song was written by Bareilles and Jack Antonoff from the band fun., as the singer was inspired from the struggles that a close friend dealt with in regard to coming out. Bareilles requested Mark Endert to produce it with the explicit goal of radio airplay. "Brave" was released worldwide through digital download on April 23, 2013 as the lead single from the album, through Epic Records."
