I was more than halfway through my own list of monsters I wanted to see in season 6 when I checked in to TWFB and saw that Elle2 had created an excellent list of monsters she wanted to see in season 6! Thankfully, I was writing about things we haven’t seen yet, while she mostly…
Supernatural’s Best Geek Ever, Part 2 5. Ed Brewer Claim to geekdom: He’s a twitchy projectionist who likes to play the Casio and will never score a date with Jamie, no matter how many twenties he tips her. She seems to prefer a certain fake G-man. He does a mean vampire impression, though. Now Playing: Phantom of the…
Number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine… yeah, just messing. So, ready to see what the brain trust has come up with today? As usual, we’re all of different choices, but we’re all in agreement that all these episodes rock. Do they line up with your choices? Share on FacebookTweetFollow usSave
As many of you know, I am expecting my first baby in October. (In fact, Alice has started a betting pool on when I’ll deliver, so check out the forums and weigh in. There’s even a prize involved!) And since I have my priorities straight, this kid is going to need some “Supernatural” baby gear…
#2 – Sam Winchester I hear you all. “You better have a damned good explanation for this one, Alice!” I do, and I think I’ve got a point. We’ll see how much of a good one. Sam’s greatest enemy is himself. All it takes is a viewing of “When The Levee Breaks” and “Lucifer…
Hi, everyone! I’m back with another top ten list! This time I’m going with memorable moments of the Impala, aka “Baby”. I once again chose my list by picking the first ten scenes that came to mind. I figured these impacted and affected me the most. Now before you read my list, write down what you…
This was funny, but I don’t think it would have ranked in my top 10 of Supernatural moments … although Jensen’s gag reflex was priceless!!
It definitely would be in mine however. I just busted a gut with this one.
I just have to say this however (cause I’m just weird when it comes to things like this) in other threads folks have called that thing The Chief is holding a whip. It’s not, it’s a cat-o-nine tails, but don’t ask me why I know that.
Oh, yes … another goodie! I wonder how the old magician guy came to be so familiar with the local S n’ M joints … 😆
A cat-o-nine tails IS a kind of whip, chaps. One handle, nine lashes (sometimes knotted for extra ouch). Very popular in the old days of the British navy for keeping the plebs in order (and before everyone gets the wrong idea about me, my partner is a huge Napoleonic sea war spod so that’s how I know!-)
Looking forward to tomorrows offering!
Yes, Suze, you are right, it is a kind of whip. But most folks think of a single lash when they see that word.
But I have an over-active accuracy gland and I can’t help myself.
Alice, I have actually see it in other treads as just a whip – so you are not alone, but hey, why use the same old same old when the specific term just adds hilarity of the situation! GRIN
Well, it definitely beats arguing about which is the most pointless out of half-baked teeny tripe Gossip Grrrls and 90thingy! 😆
