This is funny and way too true also re Sam’s lines … but I think “Sam” has had more script in the past 2 episodes than the whole of Season 9 so that’s an improvement already! Long may it continue especially next episode! (According to Jared Gen has gotten him better at expressing his feelings by TALKING – maybe she can help the writers with Sam?)

Huh, I did not know that, though I would guess there was probably SOME song out there titled “Black”, I still say the other choice would have been more fitting. 🙂
I looked up songs with ‘black’ in the name. Pearl Jam was the only one just one word, and considering what a fan Jared is I wondered if there was a connection. But yeah, Back in Black (though it is used in the pilot …pretty sure)

Are you talking about when they actually used the song? That would have been in S2, as soon as Baby was rebuilt. Episode… *glances at list* “Bloodlust.” (I knew it was 2.03, couldn’t remember title.)

Ah, back when the show was excellent *is nostalgic*
It is used in the pilot on the scene on the bridge before they meet ‘Mulder’ and ‘Scully’ I thought? (“for one thing they’re CASSETTE tapes” and then something about mullet rock) the tape Sam is holding is apparently not the one Dean puts in the player… it is used as a musical sting at some other point in the episode too.
Ah yes, the infamous, “let’s mention Metallica and not play them” bit.
