Fan Video of the Week: Supernatural Reflections “Halt And Catch Fire”

For the video of this week, I had again nothing. No idea at all. The episode “Halt And Catch Fire” was not one of my favorites and if they would have aired it again it would have been in this week. So, from which angle should I abroach the video? I decided to do something new. Could I choose a video focusing on one word of the episode name? Well, I could and I chose fire.

The definition of fire:

The episode was written in the “old school” MOTW style episodes, so this video also has that feel . It is actually one of my favorites. Enjoy!

The theme is that the boys were sort of thrust into this world of hunting without a choice but they go up against these horrible monsters – and win every time. It’s basically got 4 parts, which is the introduction and showing the things they’ve faced, then how they fight and bits of their general story, then their deaths, which no doubt give the monsters a sense of relief because they thought they were safe. But then they’re back and fighting and hunting and killing and being the hunters they were born to be. ― MissStabler

Les Friction is an independent music group led by Helmut Vonlichten, Nihl Finch, and a singer named Paint. Helmut had previously collaborated with his brother Franz Vonlichten in their cinematic music project E.S. Posthumus until Franz’s death in May 2010. Les Friction was announced in November 2011, and their self-titled debut album was released the following January.
