The Supernatural Season Nine Enigma of Sam Winchester’s Hair
I introduce to you, with tongue fully in cheek, The Season Nine Enigma of Sam Winchester’s Hair
The Morning After Exciting and brilliantly executed. Supernatural’s 14.10 “Nihilism” was another superb chapter in season 14’s story. Jensen was absolutely outstanding, presenting such a chilling and overly-confident Michael that there was no trace of Dean in the face we’ve lovingly obsessed over for 14 years. Thankfully, all the other characters got to play smart…
Well we’re here…the season finale. I’m not sure how things are going to end up. I hope the brothers will defeat Metatron and that Team Free Will come out of this unscathed. I’ll definitely have my Emergency Survival Kit ready. Cheers and enjoy the episode! Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
This review is a little late because I was swamped at work, but the extra time to think over the episode turned out to be helpful in arriving at my final thoughts. Watching the episode the first time, I was put off by the on-the-nose writing of the comparisons between the Ghostfacers and the Winchesters,…
There is a quote that captures a sliver of the human experience: “Everybody you meet is fighting a battle of which you know nothing about.” We all have struggles. Some of them are the stresses of every day life. Some are catastrophic, such as a chronic illness. Sometimes it is easy for us to become…
In any filmed story, there are actors that convey that story to the audience. Those actors need not always be human beings. In the season 11 episode “Baby,” the primary actor is none other than the ’67 Chevrolet Impala herself. It is through her lens that we see the story—a day in the life of…
Last year, I had the lucky experience of attending San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC), where professionals from television, film and comics come together to discuss their craft. SDCC 2023 happened amidst the SAG and WGA strikes, so I first met this TV writer after a panel that didn’t directly discuss their shows. That said, we…
I’m so going to Hell for this. A new low!
Hilarious! Can’t wait for S10…
At the string of “Unconscious Hair” pics I just lost it- my 14 yr. old son kept asking what was so funny. If you ever want to give up your day job, you definitely have a future in comedy.
Along with the hair, we have….

Fan tabulous – Love his hair — Long & Straight — Not to hot on the bob Love Sam xo
The greatest mystery is that through all these seasons I can’t remember Sam with a brush in his hand combing his gorgeous mane. Did it ever happen?
Jared doesn’t need a hairbrush! 😀

(Although Sam’s hair is styled on the show…)
That was really funny. It makes me REALLY wish I could afford to go to a Con. But I guess these videos are the next best thing. Thanks for posting the link.
its always fun to see this 🙂
So many types of Sam hair! This was a good laugh xD
Yay! This is always one of my favorite articles on this site. I was just thinking to myself that I somehow missed it over hellatus and I find it today. My submission for season 9 hair – the incredible wisp of hair with a mind of its own. It is blown across his forehead one minute, and the next is tucked back in place. It happened in “I”m No Angel” when Sam is knocked unconscious and Gadreel gets up to heal Cas; in “Dog Dean Afternoon” when Chef Leo attacks Sam; and in “Road Trip” when Sam is expelling Gadreel and Crowley. And I guess it kind of goes with Sam’s hospital hair.
Hilarious! Thanks for the article!
