Here’s a snippet from Carina MacKenzie at Zap2it about episode 8.11 – currently titled “LARP and the Real Girl”.
“We’ve seen some live-action roleplayers on the show before… and we’re diving back into that fandom underworld again in the upcoming episode “LARP and the Real Girl.” We’ll meet Gerald, a LARPer who prefers to be referred to as an “interactive literaturist.” He goes a little too far with his fascination with a medieval-style game .”

I’m undecided on this one. I’m getting a little worried about some of the choices Carver is making, but this feeling is based purely on spoilers, some of the carry-over characters and storylines from the SG years, and what appears to be a whole lot of episodes that don’t address the interesting Purgatory/Amelia/brother stories at all.
I just don’t have enough information on what is important to me this season to be all that interested in something like this that is described in such vague terms that it really doesn’t tell me much and contains nothing that really grabs my attention.
I agree. I was very optimistic after the first two episodes of the season but this last episode was just mediocre and had a feeling of a season 7 ep. which is definitely not good. This week’s episode looks like another that won’t address any of the interesting plots introduced earlier, and then hearing that Garth is coming back has really put a damper on my feelings for the show. The sooner they kill off Garth, the better. He’s worse than Becky.
