Bobby Singer’s Top Ten Supernatural Episodes/ Moments
Hi, everyone! I’m back with another top ten Supernatural list! This time I’m going with the most significant episodes and/or moments featuring Bobby Singer. I once again compiled my list by picking the ten memories of Bobby that came to mind first. I figured these impacted and affected me the most.
Now before you read my list, write down what you would pick. What ten Bobby episodes and/or moments did you think of first?
1) “Weekend at Bobby’s” 6.04
A great episode reflecting on ‘a weekend in the life of Bobby’. He reunites with Rufus to work on a case. Sheriff Jody Mills returns. He does the leg work in helping the brothers. And he almost has a romantic relationship with his new neighbour.
2) “Safe House” 11.16
While Sam and Dean work on a case, we get a flashback of Bobby and Rufus working together on the same case years earlier. The chemistry between Bobby and Rufus was fantastic.
3) “No Rest for the Wicked” 3.16
In an attempt to find and kill Lilith, Sam and Dean try to leave without Bobby. However, Bobby is on to them and confronts them, giving them memorable lines… ‘Do I look like a ditchable prom date to you?’ and ‘Family don’t end with blood, boy’.
4) “Deaths Door” 7.10
Bobby’s last episode as a regular on the show. Bobby is again reunited with Rufus, who helps him transition to the afterlife. Bobby uttering ‘Idjits’ to Sam and Dean before passing was so heartbreaking.
5) “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid” 5.15
Bobby reunites with his wife Karen. Unfortunately, she will turn into a killing zombie. Sadly, Bobby once again has to kill and bury the love of his life.
6) “Dream a Little Dream of Me” 3.10
Bobby has been put into a type of coma, where he is reliving a nightmare of his wife’s death. We learn that she had been possessed and Bobby was forced to kill her. Luckily, the brother ‘s are able to rescue him.
7) “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester” 5.07
Bobby plays a special card game with a witch, trying to win back 25 years of his life. However, he loses those years instead. Dean plays the game to restore Bobby, but loses as well. We end up with a very funny ‘Grumpy Old Men’ episode until Sam finally wins against the witch.
8) “Are You There God? It’s Me, Dean Winchester” 4.02
The bothers are impressed to find out that Bobby built a ‘Panic Room’ in his basement. “I had a weekend off!” replies Bobby.
9) “Sin City” 3.04
Bobby thinks he has fixed the Colt so he tests it on Ruby, yes, by shooting her. She survives but of course is unimpressed.
10) “Party On Garth” 7.18
Dean feels that Bobby’s spirit has helped them through this case. We find out that Dean’s suspicions are true when we see Bobby’s image, as Dean retrieves Bobby’s flask. So Bobby is a ‘GHOST!’ I was so excited to have Bobby back with us, even if he was a spirit.
