Memorable Moments: Supernatural 2.15 – “Tall Tales”
Welcome again to Memorable Moments of Supernatural Past! I chose this episode as this one of my favourites. The humour was endless and it introduced us to The Trickster, who I just loved and miss dearly.
Best Broment
The brothers wrestling over Sam’s money clip.
Best Sam Moment
Sammy getting all emotional with the missing boys roommate. ‘I acknowledge your pain. You’re just too precious for this world.’
Best Dean Moment
Dean stuffing his face with chocolates and looking like a chipmunk.
Best Bitch Face
Dean’s version of Sam confronting him in the bar.
Best Guest Actor(s)
Jim Beaver as Bobby.
Richard Speight Jr. as The Trickster.
Best Fight Scene
Dean fighting the Trickster’s Ladies and getting his ass kicked.
Although he did get one good punch in.
Grossest Moment
Sam examining the remains of one of the Trickster’s victims with only pieces of the body.
Most Surprising Moment
The Trickster wasn’t dead.
Most Nostalgic Moment
Seeing the Disco Ball.
Best ‘Awwwww’ Moment
At the end of the episode Sam trying to apologise to Dean for all their disagreements and …
Dean doing the same…although…
Bobby wasn’t too impressed…
Sam: Um, I just want to say that I’m, uh, um…
Dean: Hey. Me too.
Bobby: You guys are breaking my heart, could we please just leave?
Funniest Moment
(This goes to the entire bar scene where we got two versions of what transpired.)
Sam’s version of Dean drinking purple nurples …
and picking up a chick.
Then Dean disagrees with that version and tell his…
Where he was conversing with a lady…
and Sam was not impressed …
Sam: Dean! This is a very serious investigation. We don’t have time for any of your blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. Blah… blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah. BLAH!
Of course Sam disagrees with Dean’s version….
Sam: I don’t sound like that, Dean!
Dean: You do to me.
Most Awkward Moment
Curtis talking about his experience being abducted by Aliens.
Curtis: [In between shots] They, uh, they… probed me.
Dean: They probed you?
Curtis: Yeah! They probed me; again, and again, and again; and one more time.
Dean: Yikes.
Curtis: And that’s not even the worst part.
Dean: What could be worse? Some alien made you his bitch.
Curtis: They made me slow dance.
Dean and ……
Sam’s expression were priceless as they tried to keep a straight face.
Best CGI/VFX scene
The girl transforming into the corpse.
Best Set Design
The motel room, which was quite um….Ugly.
It definitely crossed over a few decades starting from the 1950’s.
Also I have to go with The Trickster’s little love nest for Dean.
