Supernaturally Charitable
We all know about Jared and Always Keep Fighting; Jensen and Misha’s You Are Not Alone; and Misha and GISHWHES/ Random Acts. What charities do other members of our cast support?
Creation Stands set up a place where the stars of Supernatural can raise money for their charties.
Richard Speight, Jr. is working to support Disabled American Veterans.
Every day, all over the world, ordinary people do extraordinary things. From defending democracy to delivering humanitarian aid and support, the women and men of our armed forces consistently demonstrate a level of commitment and selflessness that is, to me, awe inspiring. Regardless of the mission, these people deserve your respect while abroad and our support when they return. That is why I am a proud supporter of Disabled American Veterans and the work they do for soldiers injured while serving so bravely. www.dav.org

Ruth Connell supports My Hope Chest.
My Hope Chest is on a mission to make a difference in a breast cancer survivor’s life. It is the only national breast reconstruction organization working to help uninsured and under insured women heal completely. www.myhopechest.org
Among her designs is:
Support for My Hope Chest was included in one of the GISHWHES challenges this year.
For this challenge, you must pen a message of hope in colored ink on a white bra. Channeling your inner supermodel and stage a public photo shoot of someone wearing this “support undergarment.” (You may wear a shirt underneath it if you prefer and you must adhere to local laws. Please note that GISHWHES does not provide bail money.) Extra Points for working MyHopeChest.org and butterflies into your design!
Ruth described the success:
Mark Sheppard’s charity is Camp Conrad Chinnock.
Camp Conrad Chinnock allows children with diabetes to have a positive camping experience and demonstrate to everyone that these children can participate in the same activities considered only possible for children without diabetes. www.diabetescamping.org
One of Mark’s tee shirts reminds us:
Mark just finished a Represent campaign for the camp:

Rob Benedict supports Tne National Stroke Asssociation:
In October of 2013, at a SPN convention in Toronto, I had a stroke. It was unexpected and random, and if it hadn’t been for the quick actions of those around me, most notably my friend Richard Speight Jr, I may not be here today. The National Stroke Association provides insight on how to spot a stroke, how to prevent one and where to get help. Strokes can happen to anyone, at any age. Stay informed and save someone’s life.” www.stroke.org – Rob Benedict

Rob’s story has inspired an Indiegogo campaign:
Alaina Huffman has thrown her support to Ronald McDonald House.
Since 1974, Ronald McDonald House and its network of local Chapters have been making children happier by keeping families together – giving them a place to rest and refresh. I support them because it takes a village and when you have sick kids you need all the support you can get. www.rmhc.org

Kim Rhodes is raising money for ASAN (Autistic Self Advocacy Network).
She offers three tee shirts, including:
Briana Buckmaster has thrown her support behind The Canadian Women’s Foundation:

Kim and Briana have also thrown their support behind Misha’s Random Acts Campaign and have restarted their WAF campaign to raise funds.
