Top 10 Supernatural Opening Sequences: TV Show Overlay Videos – Part 2

This article is an idea I got while writing “The Fan Video of the Week article” for “The Vessel”. For that episode, I featured two videos where Supernatural was combined with trailers for full-length movies and their music. While searching for those videos, I found many videos in which the show Supernatural and its characters were introduced using the music and style of other popular TV shows, mimicing their opening sequence. This type of editing is really popular. The introductions are a real art form themselves.

There were so many great Supernatural introductions set to other shows, I chose several interpretations for each show. I divided this article series into two parts, each with at least ten Supernatural videos. Part 1 included the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners and my own video set to one of my favorite shows! It came out great and my friends loved it so I shared it with you. You can see how great these are and maybe afterwards you will find good videos from shows I missed.

So, here you have them: the second half of The Top 10 Supernatural Introductions, styled for different shows, plus a few nice extras.

7. Prison Break Supernatural intro.

Another great one. Loved the real series too. This show is also getting new episodes after it ended in 2009. Song by: Ramin Djawadi.

8. Smallville Supernatural intro x2.

9. MacGyver Supernatural intro.

This is a choice from my childhood. The list would not be complete without MacGyver. This is the show which defined who I was as a show watcher. I had a crush on Richard Dean Anderson, of course, but also the inventions drew me in (and his nemesis Murdoc who never died). MacGyver also worked with different charities and even the character himself is a do-gooder and really great guy. The show originally ended in 1992 but a reboot is also in the works for it. Young MacGyver pilot was also made before it and our own Jared Padalecki was in the lead role. Song by: Sylvain Cloux.

10. Knight Rider Supernatural intro.

Last but not least: Of course, the list would not be complete without this because The Knight Rider belongs to the show because of Changing Channels and the Trickster. Song by: Stu Philips.
