Visually this was a stunning episode. I think you could have arguably chosen any scene and it would have been a standout for this episode. But all of your picks were perfect. The submarine was probably my favorite though. They put a tremendous amount of effort into constructing it and it came off just fantastic.
Agreed! I really loved the shot where it went from the sub cruising topside into the drawing of it in the book. Beautifully done.

There isn’t alot to comment on “The Vessel” it was just perfect woe to go. All of the above shots stunning, and the submarine seeing it for the first time with the threatening lightening storm — drew you all the way in like a great movie. I hope these VFX ?? guys get some kind of reward this yr. Do they know how greatful we are for their work ?? Hope so.
Their work have been really phenomenal this season. Top notch. 🙂
