We’re trying something new this season. Each week I will visually recap what I felt were the best and most memorable moments from that episode. The list may vary from week to week , depending on what has transpired in that particular episode. Inspired by my “Brotherly Moments” series, welcome to “Memorable Moments”!
Best Broment
Sam and Dean’s heavy discussion on needing to change their ways, to get back to saving people, was a very powerful scene.
Brothers in Unison
Displaying their necks at the same time when the Deputy demanded they show their ‘Skin’ to prove they were not infected.

Best Castiel Moment
Cass praying for help from his brothers and sisters.
Best VFX scene
The swirling black smoke surrounding Dean and Amara/Darkness
Best Set Design
The 60’s, 70’s retro rec room was a winner for me. A total time warp moment.
Best Female Representation
I liked Jenna and how she was portrayed. She was always in control and focused despite being new at her job and being exposed to the Supernatural. (Trivia: Jaci Mailey also played Emily in “There Will Be Blood”)
Funniest Moment
I loved Dean’s expression when he realised that the Impala was still stuck. ‘You just let me get into the car’
Sam’s ‘You were on a roll’ was priceless.
Scariest Moment
Sam finding out he wasn’t alone in the closet.
Grossest Moment
The poor farmer’s dog.

I shared your excitement YES. I would love a wee bit of Dark Sam this year (but not too much- I want the bros united for the most part), and I also thought the black veins were oddly hot! Yeah, I know how twisted that sounds.:D

Ooooh this is a great idea!! I love pictorial reviews and would love to see your take on a series of set ideas each week. And I think it’s ‘rec’ room isn’t it, as in recreation room? Sorry. Your wreck room just made me giggle. That room was a bit of a wreck wasn’t it? Shades of the 70’s in that day-glow plaid orange upholstery :D:D

Thank you for your comments. You’re right it is suppose to be ‘rec’ room. I wish I could say that I was being clever with a play on words for ‘Wreck’ room, but it was total ‘D’oh!’ moment. It did make me laugh though. 😀
Thanks Karen, love this idea. Great moments. The orgy scene not so much for me, but the decor may be the biggest abomination of all. And I was there for the 60’s & 70’s 🙂

Our neighbors had that upholstery set with yellow/brown shag carpet. Ugh…. not a good time for design.
At one point we had a shag carpet that was kind of a lime green. I thought it was pretty darn nice. But now memories of that 60s and 70s decor prompt the same kind of head scratching that pics of my flowered bell bottoms do- what the hell were we thinking back then?!!!:D
….and paisley, oh god, the paisley, :-O
We had an avocado green refrigerator and stove. :p:p

Karen, I agree with the others that this is a fabulous idea and very well-executed. I love how you home in on the most meaningful and noteworthy scenes and then caption them so perfectly. I’m really looking forward to your takes on the rest of the episodes.
