It’s a lot less … customized and photoshopped than last year. That was really creative with the portraits made of salt spill. This is kind of a crappy photoshop job.
Using black, purple and yellow as colors are really strong as color combinations. I did love the salt one from last year better but it is hard to top. 🙂

I’m not wild about it mostly because it doesn’t reflect the current reality of the show. Those seem to be pictures of the boys from several seasons ago, and Cas no longer has full wings. Why not use images from the most recent season? I objected to the DVD cover for the same reason. Why use a picture of Sam from Season 9, a picture where he was actually Gadreel? I’m sure they could have found dozens, or even hundreds, of equally good pictures of him from Season 10. Maybe there’s some practical reason for these decisions, although I can’t come up with one off the top of my head.
And Dean is wearing both the chain necklace as well as the amulet? You can see the leather strap it hangs from. Did they ever offer T shirts from that salt design art work? That was truly incredible. My God they are truly handsome men. Then and now. 😉
