Official CW Press Release for Supernatural Episode 10.04
The CW has released the description for episode 10.04
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28 – SUPERNATURAL “Paper Moon” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
WEREWOLF KATE RETURNS — A recent string of werewolf attacks points to a surprising culprit – Kate (guest star Britni Sheridan), the werewolf Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) let live. Jeannot Szwarc directed the episode written by Adam Glass (#1004). Original airdate 10/28/2014.
So werewolf Kate returns. I guess there is a story to be told here. Will she have given into her werewolf nature? Will she be innocent and being framed? Will they point her toward Garth and his inlaws so she can have a support system to keep her on the straight and narrow. What do you think? Is she someone you wanted to see again?
That would be a great way to get Garth and his werewolf family into the episode.
i never cared about the eppy bitten so I really don’t care about this character…..what I do wonder though….is this an actual case the boys work on together? is this a case where dean is back to being dean? and if so…will dean react more like sam usually does in these kind of circumstances? will dean be more sympathetic as sam has always been, because sam could always understand where they were coming from,?
that is more what i’m interested in…
Never watched Bitten so do not know much about Kate .
I’m with you, nappi815…I wasn’t a huge fan of Bitten and didn’t really care about the characters, so I’ll just see where the new ep takes us. It’d be interesting, though, if it WAS Kate who was killing people, and Sam and Dean (assuming Dean is Dean again) had to kill her. I can hear the interaction between the boys:
Dean: Those deaths are on us because we let her go. I’m not gonna make that mistake again.
Sam: *sigh* Yeah but you know not all people who get turned give in to the monster.
Dean: *shakes head* Doesn’t matter, I’m not gonna take the chance.
*Dean walks off and Sam watches him leave with a concerned look*
Oops, sorry…got carried away. lol
I was one of the few who actually liked Bitten. I wish it had had more Sam and Dean, but despite that, I thought it was well done and well acted and I liked the characters. It will be interesting to see if Dean especially has a different reaction toward her… and if so, what Sam’s reaction toward Dean’s reaction might be. It could be interesting. And I think working Garth in would be a great way to close off the character of Kate while working Garth in again.
Thank you…. I liked Bitten as well. I never skip over it on a re watch. A little more Sam and Dean maybe but what they did was kind of perfect. How the general public sees them (bromance and awesome) and how the monster sees them. I was hoping we would revisit Kate at some point.
I liked the episode, too. Not one of my favorites but give them credit for trying something so different in the 8th season of an established show. Always like when they go back and revisit decisions they’ve made in the past (letting her go). If she is the one doing the killing, will be interested in both Sam and Dean’s reaction, especially after Dean’s recent stint as a demon.
I enjoyed Bitten; because of the look at Sam and Dean from the outsider view. I found the storyline of Garth the werewolf with the loving werewolf family boring and waste of Garth’s humble and quirky character. I cannot see independent Kate going for that…. I think she is going to need the help of Sam and Dean.
