Awesome promo. Dean’s not looking too cuddly there.
It kind of looks like Dean is beating the crap out of Cole. And the slicing the hand with the blade looks pretty ominous too. But Sam and Dean don’t meet until ep 3 so I don’t know what context these clips are in relation to. It does look intense.

What makes you think that? The promo shows demon Dean and Sam talking to each other.
Plus reports from the set show that the actors were shooting on the same location during the making of episode 10.02. (Also Mark and Travis Aaron Wade were there.)
Dean looks a bit darker here. Hoping that they don’t punk out where Dean is concerned; a ‘merciful, do the right thing despite being a demon’ Dean sounds like a drag. I want carnage. Cain was the most fearsome demon to walk the earth, second only to Lucifer…. why would Dean be any less?
