New Supernatural Season Ten Promo Poster!
Hmm, we must be getting closer to the season premiere. It’s time for the annual promo poster! Honestly, I liked last year’s better, but this works too. It…kind of…yeah…I have no idea what message they’re trying to convey other than what’s said. Any guesses?
Alice Jester is the founder, editor-in-chief, head writer, programmer, web designer, site administrator, marketer, and moderator for The Winchester Family Business. She is a 30 year IT applications and database expert with a penchant for creative and freelance writing in her spare (ha!!) time. That’s on top of being a wife, mother of two active kids, and four loving (aka needy) pets.
I have no guesses, but I think it is interesting that there are hands coming from below and above, but only demons are mentioned. Are the hands coming from above also representing demons or are they angels? Trapped souls in the veil? Hmmmmm…..
I actually first didn’t notice the hands from above. It might be the veil or Angels.
Blue and red together makes really strong coloring and I actually like it. Someone actually said that the pictures might be from old promo shoots? I haven’t seen them but someone else might recognise them?
What I think about the promo poster is that the characters are pulled up or down depending on the decissions they make. The inner demons being their weaknesses. Win them and all is good. Loose and it is trip downwards and it won’t be pretty. All in all I think we can expect some inner and of course physical fighting.
Just don’t know how Crowley fits to it. 😀

I’m pretty sure that these are the clothes they were wearing in the promo shots for season 9. Also the red/blue color scheme is the same as last year as well; it’s either a tie in or they used some of the pictures that they didn’t use from last year. It’s an OK poster… not terribly intriguing. Maybe they will release another one closer to that contains more of a punch?
What I’m taking away from this is that the first thing demon!Dean did was to grow a few centimetres so that he’s taller than Sam…
HAH! Funny! He does look taller than Sam here. Jensen is no slouch in the height department, but he’d have to grow 5 whole inches to beat out The Padalegs. :p
I agree that the clothes are the same as last year’s pictures. Quite disappointing. I hope there are new ones soon.
I wonder if using some of the same photos as last year is because of Jared’s injury. Maybe they couldn’t work a new photo shoot around his arm in a sling.
I thought about that too. Sounds like a reasonable explanation to me.
I think you’re on to something there Cheryl. Jared also mentioned that he had lost weight and muscle tone in that arm so they may be using old shots now and will shoot new ones when he has recovered more.
