Press Release on Ratings for Supernatural 9.14 “Captives”

From the CW’s Press Release (Updated with final ratings)

Last night’s THE ORIGINALS rose 14% in A18-34 (0.8/3) versus its last pre-Olympic original episode on 2/4/14, and rose 10% in W18-34 (1.1/3).

Supernatural also rose 10% in A18-34 (1.0/3) and 10% in A18-49 (1.1/3) versus its last original outing three weeks ago.

Versus this same Tuesday a year ago, The CW more than doubled it’s performance, +125% in A18-34 (0.9/3) for the night, was up +80% in A18-49 (0.9/3), and nearly doubled in total viewers, +96% (2.16M).

Note Supernatural was preempted in Chicago last night, so these may adjust in the finals. Chicago won’t see the episode until the weekend, so it won’t factor into the Live +3 data either.  Still we are doing really well on Tuesdays.

Final numbers are in and we adjusted down to 1.0 in 18-49, which is still very good, especially considering we had no viewers in the Chicago area.  Good job Supernatural.
