Sneak Peek – “Supernatural” 9.07 “Bad Boys”
Here’s a sneak peek from next week’s episode – 9.07 “Bad Boys” written by Adam Glass.
Oh geeze. I’m already having feels. I love the flashback episodes and I love that maybe Sam’s going to find out something new about his big brother.
But Dean… YOU WANT SAM TO BUST YOU ON THE EZEKIEL THING DON’T YOU! Oh my gosh… “And everybody’s okay with heading out to the Catskills” *penetrating stare* Good grief.
Also, D-Dog. Yes…from now on I will be calling Dean, D-Dog.

Amy you just know that is where they are going to leave us hanging before the winter hiatus. Sam is going to find out about Zeke and we will have to wait to see what his reaction is going to be. I do love this sneak peak. It’s always great to get some back story on the boys life before we all fell in love with them. Imagine, Dean stealing food for Sammy since he lost the food money in a poker game, (at 16 my goodness!).

Made me all wibbly… I once wrote a story about Dean remembering how he stole clothes for Sammy because he’d outgrown his jeans and he didn’t want him to be teased at school 😥
Though…he did lose the cash in a card game… little s**t!
Also, yes… that is probably the torture ahead for us, the knowing and not knowing. DAMN.

Well it only took them seven episodes this season to cut Jensen’s hair so damn short that he has “white walls” around his ears and you can see through to his scalp on 40% of his head. Who the hell cuts this man’s hair for this show? Whoever it is should be SHOT for doing that to Jensen Ackles. Doesn’t anybody notice how much better Dean looked with longer hair in Season One than what they are constantly doing to him these last few seasons?

In fact, Dean thought the word was made up and Sam did a ton of research. But here Dean is reminding Sam about when he was 16 and John was on a rugaru hunt. I swear, I will work for free – show me the scripts and I will make sure there are no inconsistencies, guys! Free labor here.

Yikes! Why would it be better to tell Sam that Dean was lost on a hunt for a few months instead of the truth. Part of the family business is apparently telling lies and not very good ones.

i really, really, really hope that they stick with Dean lost the food money in a card game, because John’s character can only take so much trashing. Don’t get me wrong, I think John was a crappy dad for the most part, but having him not leaving enough money for food for Sam and Dean would just be piling on IMHO.
What with the whole rugaru discrepancy and trying to make “I had to steal food because I lost the money for food” and “Dad came back after you were gone for a while” jive with Sam never noticed that there wasn’t food in the house I have the bad feeling that I’m going to be nitpicking more than I enjoy. Wow. It always amazes me people look for problems instead of just enjoying the show. 179 episodes folks; with different writers; directors; etc. Jensen and Jared can’t even remember; and they acted it all.
Personally. I think it is going to be a good episode from that clip. OH, I do agree about the hair. LOVE it longer. He has such great hair!

People remember canon . There are things I dont like , the whole reinventing Bobby as ‘surrogate dad/uncle ‘ is one . When it was obvious in season 1 that Sam didnt know who he really was and never been there.

Hey Penny Jaime. Fear not. I still love the show and am looking forward to the episode. Just could not resist pointing out the inconsistency. I do not expect all the writers and actors to remember everything, but I do think the team would benefit from a staffer dedicated to checking scripts for consistency. That being said, the inconsistency will not stop me from enjoying the show. Still the best show on tv.

I swear Sam’s voice sounds more modulated like Ezekiel’s too, even when it is Sam talking. But I wonder if I feel that way because of comments about Sam and Zeke melding or Zeke being present when Dean is unaware or it’s true.

Not sure how I feel about this episode mytharc wise. I am suspicious of it (probably not with any good reason) and I think I will wait and watch it on Wednesday. It looks like a pretty excellent ghost story if the clips are anything to go by.
I have to admit if the rugaru turns out just to be a mistake (and I suspect it isn’t really, it is connected to the overall hinkiness) I really, truly don’t care.
