Spoiler Roundup – January 1st
Spoilers are starting to trickle again as Supernatural inches toward it’s January return. Here’s a couple of interesting little teasers that have surfaced:
– From TV Line, here’s their little blurb on what to expect when Supernatural returns from it’s midseason break.
COMING UP NEXT – As if the trust issues between the Winchesters, the return of Cas’ mysterious heavenly arc and Amelia’s presence weren’t enough, Dean and Sam will also deal with daddy complications when their paternal grandpa, Henry, time-travels to the present in a family mythology episode. “When you meet your father’s father, that brings up some of your father issues. In other words, what did your father’s father have to do with the way your father turned out?†previews executive producer Jeremy Carver. “A lot of that is explored head-on.†But it’s not all doom and gloom. Felicia Day’s Charlie Bradbury returns in what is sure to be a geektastic hour about live-action role playing.

– This has been out a couple of weeks, but I only just saw it today. EW has an interesting tease about an upcoming Ben Edlund episode. I’m not sure if this is the time travel episode or not, but it sounds like classic Edlund.
Episode 11 — in which Dean and Sam get thrown into the world of LARPing — is going to be one to remember, but I’m most looking forward to the next episode from writer Ben Edlund, which I’m told is a “twisted†installment. “There will be an episode dealing with Nazi necromancers,†says executive producer Jeremy Carver. “It was written by Ben Endlund, so you know that’s going to be fun.â€

– A working title for episode 8.17 has been leaked. It’s called “Goodbye Stranger.” For anyone that know their classic rock, that’s a pretty cool Supertramp song from the late 70’s. The working title for episode 8.14 is “Black Dog,” which many of you know if an infamous Led Zeppelin tune. No, we’re not bitter at all that Kripke finally got his wish (and budget) to play Led Zeppelin, for Revolution. The title for 8.12 keeps changing, so I’m thinking that their former titles of “Out of Time” and “As Time Goes By,” both Rolling Stones songs, didn’t clear standards and practices.
That’s all for now, but I’m sure plenty more will be coming through in the next few weeks.
