Supernatural Spoiler Roundup, Sept 21

There’s been a few developments this week, including an update of episode titles up to episode 10.  Episode 10?  Can you imagine that?  We haven’t even seen episode 1 yet!

But first, here’s the official episode description from The CW of Episode 8.02, “What’s New Tiger Mommy?”

MRS. TRAN JOINS SAM AND DEAN ON THE ROAD — Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) talks Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) into checking in on his mother (guest star Lauren Tom). When they arrive, they see that Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) has surrounded her with demons so they rescue her and take her along on their quest to find the tablet. However, they soon discover Kevin wasn’t kidding when he said his mother was a strong-willed woman after she tries to take on Crowley. John Showalter directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin (#803).
 

There’s a couple of really big casting spoilers: 

In some very, very exciting news for Stargate fans, Zap2It has announced that Amanda Tapping has been cast in a recurring role.  The word is she will “play Naomi, described as ‘cool and mysterious, part of a new group of angels we’ve never seen before’, according to executive producer Jeremy Carver.” She will first be in episode 8.07, “A Little Slice of Kevin.”

This casting spoiler really got me!  I after all grew up watching and loving M*A*S*H* for most of its run.  I couldn’t fathom one of the actors would actually consider appearing on our little Sci-Fi show.  But reports are that Mike Farrell has been cast for episode 8.08.  He’s apparently set to play, according to Spoiler TV,  “an aging mentalist with a slippery grasp on reality.”  I can’t wait!!!

And that brings us to Episode titles! We reported the first 8 in a prior update, but it seems to episode title to 8.08 has changed and the tentative ones for 8.09 and 8.10 have been released.

8:08 (new title)  “Hunteri Heroici” (previously Dean Amuck)
8.09 “Citizen Fang”
8.10 “Don’t Stop Believing” 

Yeah, let the speculations run wild with that last one.
