Yep, Sam, on the other hand, has been “rebuilt” in flashbacks into happy, happy, joy, joy Sam, and we haven’t had the slightest indication that he has any lingering issues at all in the current time line.
Yes, and this is completely wrong. His hell experience lastef for a longer period of time and was with Lucifer who taught Allistair all he knew so it must have been really bad. Yet, he’s not been given any issues to deal with. WTH!
Respectfully disagree. I don’t think we ever saw Dean’s issues being dealt with. At least we saw some of what was going on in Sam’s head, admittedly not nearly enough, but some anyway.
So, you don’t think Dean’s suffered much? Really? I think both Dean and Sam have suffered horribly, with all due respect, not just Sam.
With respect I dsagree [b]Misty[/b] we have always seen Dean’s issues dealt with and we have a clear understanding of what he is feeling .
I dont want to get into a back and forth argument but Dean’s hell has never gone away and his depression and drinking are symptons of that .My issue with Sam is the situation they created was enormous and a few hallucinations and a hand rub then a instant fix made the sl seem abit pointless for me at least.
I know everybody sees it differently but my feelings on the subject wont change .
Nor will mine. Drunkeness and depression are not dealing with bad situations but whatever. And I think it’s clear Dean’s suffered horribly as has Sam also. Not denying nor would I ever deny Sam’s pain. Just stating that both of them have suffered.

Not gonna lie, I had some hope that there was something else for Sam, but I’m afraid his storyline this season will be what spoilers suggest and that they’re making him the selfish brother. I’m a sad, sad fan.
At least Dean’s story seems interesting.

Yeah, I’m a news-junkie. 🙂 I’m on my computer a lot and like to keep up with politics and current events, so I tend to check certain news sites every day. Now in addition to that I just run a search for Supernatural spoilers, lol.
season 4 all over again! dean’s going to bitch about this like he bitched about hell I am over it and we got not a GOD DAMN thing about sam’s time in hell we heard about dean’s in S4. I am sick of hearing OH sam is not doing nothing to save dean boohooo did dean do anything to save sam after S5 NOT A DAMN THING! so why is everyone blaming sam for this it just makes me sick.
I’m, we have gotten glimpses of both boys times in hell in different ways. Deans came via some confessions, flashbacks, and hallucinations during s4, and sams came via major trauma during s7. Sam isn’t getting blamed for anything. It has never been suggested in spoilers Sam doesn’t look for dean, but that deans perception may be that he didn’t. I think we all know that he wouldn’t have walked away without good reason. Give it a chance to play out. Both boys deal with what theyve been through differently. And dean did look for Sam during that year. Its canon. The cussing isnt necessary either.
Actually Kerinda, Dean DID say he did everything he could to save Sam. Says it in the beginning of season 6. And I really don’t think Dean bitched that much at all about his time in Hell. He tried to keep it to himself. It all came with with Uriel if I recall.
Who’s blaming Sam? Season 8 hasn’t ever started yet.
I think it will be shown that Sam did all he could to save Dean.
Maybe they should be showing that right away, that’s the main complaint I have, that and the fact that once again Dean will not have a real love interest but at this point I’ve given up on that.
