Jared Padalecki Wins TV Stars We Wanna See Become Movie Stars Poll – Read the Interview!
Stuff like this just makes me smile. I mean, Jared and Jensen are often winning online polls and such (thanks to one extraordinarily passionate fan base). However, NextMovie.com ran a poll recently, ‘TV Stars We Wanna See Become Movie Stars’ and not only managed to be thrown back by Jared’s dramatic 51% win thanks to Supernatural fans (177,000 votes) but they scored a rare interview with the big guy as well! It’s a pretty darned good one. He’s so thankful and gracious, would love a film career, but he’s remaining loyal to Supernatural until the very end. Why don’t I just share his exact reaction?
“Thanks a million,” he tells fans. “That makes me feel really good, really flattered. I don’t know what to say, that’s huge. Really cool.”

Congrats Jared and thank you fans again for making this honor possible. It’s so nice to see someone who has worked so hard to give us so much earn such accolades from time to time.

I saw this posted up on Twitter and was just ecstatic. He totally deserves all the attention and more! I only see his career going up and up—both him and Jensen.
I’m so, so happy. Jensen is usually the one to win the polls so it’s great to see that Jared is getting credit too. Finally. Congrats to the most gorgeous moose ever. 😆
Yaaay!! I’m so happy he won!! He’s such a sweetheart AND so talented, he deserves any and all accolades.
I loved his shout out about Zachary Levi, who also seems like a total sweetheart.
I met Zachary Levi and interviewed him at Comic Con two years ago. He is every bit as sweet and genuine as Jared says. The entire Chuck cast (and producer Chris Fedak) are. They are really one tight knit family, much like the Supernatural cast and crew.
I love to hear that. Chuck is one of my favorite shows. You know what I wish? That Zach would guest star on SPN.
Awesome to see Jared’s well deserved win! I especially love that they got the interview& as I expected& hoped he’d be thankful but loyal to Supernatural! I wish both Jared and Jensen, long, successful, productive & inspiring careers when Show is done :'( &hopefully some re-teaming along the way as their chemistry is lightning in a bottle! I’m glad to see my hours of voting& tweets to vote helped him win!
Jared is such a sweetheart. I would love to see him in a Gilmore Girls movie, I was a big fan of the show. But in the meantime lets all enjoy him on our favourite TV show!
I will follow his and Jensen’s careers after SPN, I think they are both phenomenal actors, and I would love to see them paired together in a buddy comedy. Wouldn’t that be great? Both Jared and Jensen say they aren’t funny, but man, they seem to have great comedic timing on SPN!
I’m happy! It serves him right. besides I want to see everywhere because he is a sun!
Yay!!! I am so proud of him! Well- deserved! I love how loyal he is to the show & his castmates, & that’s one of the many reasons I am so loyal to the show!
she´s…………………… wonder fun………………………..
Very happy for Jared, he deserves every recognition for his outstanding work. Jared brings many different versions of Sam to life that they seem like different actors. I even had a friend who is a sometimes Supernatural watcher who thought it was different actor playing soulless Sam in “All Dogs Go to Heaven” end scene.
Huge congrats to Jared on winning the poll and we got an interview to boot! I’m so glad he knows now much the fans are behind him and want to see him succeed beyond the small screen.
