Warning: If you have not seen tonight’s episode, “First Born,” then beware spoilers ahead! Summary: The episode opens with a pretty badass sequence of Timothy Omundson as Cain, kicking some demonic Confederate soldiers. Did I mention he’s badass?
Given that Jared and Jensen flew into LA for the Critics Choice Awards, that was the ideal setup for them to do a few interviews! They talk about what’s coming up for future episodes, so I’ll give a slight spoiler warning, but they don’t give away the farm here.
This episode looks like it could be fun with the paring of Dean and Crowley and Sam and Castiel. However it also looks like it could get pretty intense. Something that goes well with Bingo. Enjoy the episode and good luck!
Setting aside my overwhelming emotional reaction to the brilliant acting, storytelling and production that resulted in “Road Trip” for just a few minutes, let’s put our heads together and analyze how the episode contributed to the myth arc and plot threads of season nine!

We watched each of these stories reflect or weave around a particular center—the Garden of Eden and the Fall of…
The Winchester Family Business has had a bit of a flood of reviews lately so I’m going to try a little something new. Remixes of the episode which will hopefully be entertaining at least, funny at best in the spirit of classic abridges like DBZ and Yu Gi Oh. I, of course, recommend the SPN…
Sam Winchester’s Safe Place There are all sorts of reasons why scenes are written, but the way they are staged often is outside the boundaries of authorial intent – practicalities come into play, such as budgetary restraints and actor availability. In Road Trip, we had a very wonderful scene set inside Sam Winchester’s head,…
Dear Jensen and Jared, There is so much to say about “Road Trip”. We asked the writers for “feels” and they delivered big time!! It is really hard to know where to start. This wonderful hour of unparalleled story telling included stunning plot twists and outstanding acting. Andrew Dabb scripted a brilliant study of emotions…
For those that tuned into The CW tonight and noticed “The Vampire Diaries” wasn’t on, The CW aired tonight “The Critics Choice Movie Awards.” That gave them the opportunity to bring in some network talent to be presenters. So guess who showed up in GORGEOUS black suits? Yep, Jensen and Jared flew into Los…
