"Those who improve with age embrace the power of personal growth and personal achievement and begin to replace youth with wisdom, innocence with understanding, and lack of purpose with self-actualization." — Bo Bennet
Sometimes you forget how gruesome and disturbing Supernatural can be.
On my own behalf, I am not that fond of extreme religious themes, and seeing self-mutilation (like the self-whipping) makes me flinch. I have seen that in few other series and movies as well and it gets to me every time. That a parent did that to Magda was horrible. Human monsters can be very cruel and their evilness can hurt even more than something unknown to us. Like Dean said: "Demons I get. People are crazy!!!"
For the video, I chose the theme of personal growth/growth. I previously had one video with this song and I liked it a lot. Dean needed to have personal growth with the Mary issue. He implied this when he said that he is acting like a 13 year old girl. He is insecure with how to act and fears that she will leave him and Sam again. Sam also showed a little growth when he let Magda's mother hear exactly how he was feeling. He sounded angry and he probably was, seeing how the mother had treated the daughter. Magda's brother also had growth when he stuck up for his sister finally. Too bad it cost him his life.
In the end they were rewarded for their growth. Dean heard back from his mother, Sam got to save Magda and he learned that things were far worse and the brother also saved Magda. Personal growth is also what many fans hope they will see with both brothers. Although, if we would get everything we want, there would be no drama anymore on the show - and we can't have that now can we?
Here is the video. Enjoy and Merry Christmas! Do not be naughty, be nice.

7 Years by Lukas Graham
Once I was seven years old, my mama told me,
"Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely."
Once I was seven years old
It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger
Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker
By eleven smoking herb and drinking burning liquor
Never rich so we were out to make that steady figure
Once I was eleven years old, my daddy told me,
"Go get yourself a wife or you'll be lonely."
Once I was eleven years old
I always had that dream, like my daddy before me
So I started writing songs, I started writing stories
Something about that glory just always seemed to bore me
'Cause only those I really love will ever really know me
Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
Before the morning sun, when life was lonely
Once I was twenty years old
(Lukas Graham!)
I only see my goals, I don't believe in failure
'Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major
I got my boys with me, at least those in favor
And if we don't meet before I leave, I hope I'll see you later
Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
I was writing about everything I saw before me
Once I was twenty years old
Soon we'll be thirty years old, our songs have been sold
We've traveled around the world and we're still roaming
Soon we'll be thirty years old
I'm still learning about life
My woman brought children for me
So I can sing them all my songs
And I can tell them stories
Most of my boys are with me
Some are still out seeking glory
And some I had to leave behind
My brother, I'm still sorry
Soon I'll be sixty years old, my daddy got sixty-one
Remember life, and then your life becomes a better one
I made a man so happy when I wrote a letter once
I hope my children come and visit once or twice a month
Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me?
Soon I'll be sixty years old
Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me?
Soon I'll be sixty years old
Once I was seven years old, my mama told me,
"Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely."
Once I was seven years old
Once I was seven years old

Quotes:
Sam: So what's the word? Cas have anything?
Dean: Yeah, uh... Well, good news, there's nothing on angel radio and Heaven's still on lock down. So rogue angel is out.
Sam: Bad news?
Dean: Cas is chumming it up with Crowley. They're hunting Lucifer together. That's right. One's an angel, one's a demon and apparently they solve crimes.
Sam: So what happened to your daughter, was that God's plan?
Gail: Yes.
Sam: She didn't have to die. She was sick. If you had taken her to a doctor.
Gail: God does not-
Sam: God doesn't care what kind of life you live. Trust me. And God didn't kill your daughter. You did.
Dean: Think you made the right call back there letting her go?
Sam: I hope so. I mean Magda didn't know what she was doing, she had no idea. I think she deserves a second chance. What did Beth want?
Dean: She gave me her number. Her personal number.
Sam: You were gonna shoot her.
Dean: Yeah, I know. Kinda weird, kinda hot.
Sam: Hey, did you mean what you said back there?
Dean: Yeah. You were right. This whole Mom thing. It's-I mean, we get her back and then she leaves, I hate it. But I get it. I do. I guess I'm just still working through some of that crap. I'll try to be less of a dick about it.

Minutiae and trivia:
Dean: So, Lucifer. The Lord of Evil, the Angel of Light, is now the Master of Butt Rock. He jumped into Vince Vincente.
In the '90s rock music radio stations used the tagline "Rock. Nothing but Rock." – which people quickly parodied as "Nothing Butt Rock." Butt rock became slang for bad rock music – which of course varied depending on your tastes! It can be assumed with Sam being a fan of Bon Jovi and Vince Vincente, that his musical tastes veered more towards '80s hair/glam metal growing up, which is in contrast to Dean and John's classic hard rock and heavy metal tastes. The name of Lucifer's chosen vessel could also be a play on Vinnie Vincent, who was the lead guitarist for KISS from 1982-1984, a band some would describe as butt rock. Vincent's career with KISS and his life after the band was the subject of a lengthy Rolling Stone story in 2014
Sam and Dean use the aliases Fathers Penn and DeNiro as priests. References to actors Sean Penn and Robert DeNiro who also pretend to be priests in the movie We're No Angels. They also use James Morrison and Ray Manzarek while posing as social workers, a reference to Doors singer Jim Morrison and keyboard bass player Ray Manzarek.
