The Wisdom of Dean Winchester – Season One
At risk of stating the obvious, Dean Winchester has a flare with words. A biting, sarcastic, often snarky sentiment with a flamethroweresque delivery, but clever. Very clever. As Zachariah said in the season four finale, "You're our own little Russell Crowe, complete with surly attitude." I don't know, Russell Crowe doesn't leave me laughing like Dean. Or wondering with…
Quoting Supernatural
Quoting Supernatural If you know what’s out there and once hoped to live a normal, apple pie life, you are quoting Supernatural. Needless to say, you despise chick flick moments and don’t do shorts, because saving people, hunting things is your calling. After a while you find that this whole gig ain’t…
Review – “Long Distance Call”
“Long Distance Call” –Robin’s Rambles by Robin Vogel A man stands in his study, nervously drinking. His phone, showing caller ID SHA33, keeps ringing; it’s a woman named Linda who professes her love, asks if he loves her, yet he keeps hanging up on her. Finally, unable to tolerate the phone calls, he destroys the phone–but…
Nate and Alice Make Supernatural “Frenchy Mistakes”
I was bopping around the Internet the other day when I came across the “what could have been” section on Supernatural’s TV trope page. “What is this?” I thought. “It is real world impacts on the SPN stories,” I realized. It was all pretty fascinating! So fascinating I knew I had to ask the person who knew…
Tales from a GISH Newbie – Navigating My First GISH Scavenger Hunt
I blame Misha. At least that’s what I think I’m supposed to say. I’m new to this GISH thing. Actually, I blame Robbie Thompson and Felicia Day for luring me into this GISH thing. I saw a tweet saying that Robbie had devised a game for Felicia and other Supernatural cast members to play online…
A Deeper Look At Season Three Sam Winchester
It’s Sam’s turn! As I’m sure many of you have picked up from my previous articles, I’m rather intrigued by the character of Sam Winchester. He’s dark and mysterious, and I really need to look hard to even get a small grasp of what’s he’s all about. Dean’s more open and since he’s already hit…
Hahaa, This is great 😀
I *did* get a lump of coal, but at least I avoided Krampus or evil Santa.
Seriously, no one has ever sharpened stakes to use against their family when they get really annoying? I find that hard to believe. 😉
Well dang, this was fun AND disgusting. That’s a first 😉
And I wouldn’t mind SamnDean carroling on my doorstep… Even with their vocal abilities OR the fact that they’d think I was an eeevool Santa or what-have-you and were almost gonna pop me one 😎
Hi Elle
I loved this. Its definitely is not a Christmas I would want.
Poor Sam and Dean.
That was so……. fun! 😕
My favourite Christmas tradition show. Really! It is. 😉
Hi, Elle,
Great job! I just watched this again this past Tuesday (the 22nd) as I knew I wouldn’t see it on TV on Christmas Eve. I’m with my mom this year (yeah!) and Supernatural is not for her so I knew I wouldn’t be watching it.
I love this episode…it’s great each time I watch it!
Lol..this was hilarious! Although, I’m not entirely sure that evil pagan gods are any less fun than around 50 relatives or so (plus screaming kids) running around your house 😉 (Randal, I’m with ya on the stakes..)
Hahaha..this is a really cute post, I love this ep.
That was really funny! Thanks for brightening my holidays.
Elle, you wonderfully crazy lass…(I mean that nicely, of course, you know that). I’m catching up on the articles I wasn’t able to follow during my holiday…. And this is hilarious… I love this kind of dark humour… Thanks so much for this!
Randal, I keep a stake in my drawer. Just in case.
😎 Jas
Actually, no. 3 sounds definitely familiar … 😉
