A second promo clip was released tonight for 6.21 “Let it Bleed”
The CW released its fall schedule and aa account of each show. The press release contained a short description of Supernatural’s season seven.
Now, in season seven, the Winchesters will find themselves in an increasingly sinister, changing landscape, up against a new foe unlike anything they’ve ever fought. They’ll find their old tricks, weapons and hiding places all rendered useless. All they’ll have is each other. And the certainty that, like the last of the cowboy outlaws, whatever they face, they’re not going down without a fight. The series stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester, Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester and Misha Collins as Castiel. SUPERNATURAL is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers McG (“Charlie’s Angels,” “The O.C.”), Robert Singer (Midnight Caller), Sera Gamble and Phil Sgriccia.

Ausiello: Their return will “test Dean’s resolve,†reveals exec producer Ben Edlund. “It’s going to [force] him to choose what kind of hero he’s going to be. As we always knew, one day or another, he was going to have to make some choices like that.â€

– Zap2it has posted an interview with Ben Edlund, the writer and director of this weeks episode, “The Man Who Would Be King.†Seems Castiel’s betrayal of Dean will come hard to the bad-ass hunter.
“He won’t like it. Familial betrayal is his kryptonite, so to speak. It’s his thing. It’s the thing he hates worse than any other thing, and he has brought Cas into the family, so the math there has a clear outcome. It’s going to hurt him deeply even to discover what we understand to be the case right now, which is that Cas is capable of working with a demon. Even that is going to be so painful. It’s going to be a hard week for that good-looking bastard.”
We asked Edlund whether the writers hesitated to explore Castiel’s dark side, given his tendency to lend humor to the show. “I had my hesitations,” he admits, “because I like the fish-out-of-water, dumb jokes, and I like Cas. I like the thing on camera that Misha created that complemented this new strain of creature, this angel coming into our world and gave a body and character to it. That’s a really great thing. But one of the rules of ‘Supernatural’ is loss, and losing things. You have to love something before you can feel its loss.”

Update April 29, 2011
CW new promo for 6.20 “The Man Who Would Be King”.
- New spoilers released by Sandra Gonzalez from EW.com.
Last week I teased the first hour of Supernatural’s two-hour finale (airing May 20), and now, I come with intel on the show’s second hour, which EP Sera Gamble says opens with “a bang,†as the wall in Sam’s mind that protects him from his darkest memories falls down. (An event Jared Padalecki himself spilled on here.) “You see Sam in a state he’s never been in before pretty much at the top of the episode,†she says. “Structurally, he does a couple of pretty interesting things in that episode.
“I will say that hopefully it’s entertaining. It’s like when you start to think about what that could be in your imagination — something completely spun out in all directions — except hopefully we give you something you were thinking and some unexpected twists,†Gamble continues. “We like to throw stuff at the boys that they weren’t prepared for as much as possible.â€

- TV Guide’s Hanh Nguyen has a new spoiler article up, this one mainly about Cass. Heads up Castiel fans! Seems the “The show’s writers deliberately decided to tarnish Castiel this season in order to test his character.â€
After Castiel sends the Winchesters back in time to follow up on a clue from Samuel Colt’s diary, he continues with his own efforts to build up a supernatural army. As the season has been progressing, however, more and more of his actions have become suspect.
In a surprising confrontation, we see Castiel engage in a battle to defend his hidden agenda. In the aftermath, he goes back to Bobby and the boys with a slightly skewed account of the tussle.
“He doesn’t exactly tell the whole story to them,” executive producer Sera Gamble tells TVGuide.com. “Cas’ role has changed in that he’s not just a soldier anymore, he is responsible for a lot of people. One of the difficult lessons that Cas has been forced to learn is that with great responsibility comes compromise, a really difficult compromise. He’s commanding essentially a guerrilla army and like all commanders and, in a certain way like all politicians, you might find yourself bending the truth at one time or another.”
“That’s something we were interested in exploring for Castiel who is such a sincere and honest, really deeply feeling character on the show,” Gamble says. “Angels have been just d—s on the show, but Castiel has been the opposite, so we put him in this position where he’d be forced to have to do these things that he doesn’t want to have to do necessarily.”

- EW’s Sandra Gonzalez has released some tidbits from Sera Gamble on SPN’s two episode finale night.
“We heard pretty early that we should be prepared for them to air on the same night,†executive producer Sera Gamble says. “We had so many threads to tie up this season, we didn’t end up telling one story that stretches over two episodes. Instead, they work as companion pieces and separate episodes.†And while Gamble says both episodes are brother-centric and “very much about Sam and Dean coming together,†the first part deals primarily with Dean’s storyline this season, which found him struggling with his identity.
“He started this season completely out of the hunting life, and he has a lot of fears about the worst version of himself in that situation — who he could turn into and the bad he could do to other people,†she teases. “There’s a reason he has so few people in his life, and it’s because he has a lot of fears about what he could bring into their lives – what he could do to them. He has to face that in this episode.†Of course, on this show facing your fears tends to mean one thing. “We look at those issues through a Supernatural lens, which is fun because then they get really bloody,†she says with a laugh.

Update April 20, 2011
– Michael Ausiello released some tidbits about the brotherly relationship in the remaining episodes in response to a fan question.
Question: So… Supernatural. I just love that the brother dynamic has returned now that Sam’s got his soul back. Can we expect some great brotherly love in this season’s remaining episodes? —Julia Ausiello: You can. As exec producer Bob Singer previews, “Dean is willing to trust him completely. And by season’s end, they are in total lock-step with each other, saving each other’s lives and having that relationship the fans crave.â€

Update April 19, 2011
- Sandra Gonzalez of EW.com has a few more tidbits about 6.18 “Frontierland†in here article today.
A few weeks back, I laughed out loud when I first read the loglines for “Frontierland,†the highly anticipated episode of Supernatural that takes Dean and Sam on a search for Samuel Colt, because it said Dean was “beside himself with excitement†at the prospect of time traveling to the Old West. I remembered that line as I watched the episode, and I couldn’t have put it better myself. It’s hard not to smile a little as the boys head back to the 1800s, zarapes and all. The episode also marks the introduction of Castiel’s angel lieutenant, Rachel. And for those of you who pondered: No; she’s definitely not a romantic companion. Sorry, the real love-fest in this episode is between Cas and Bobby, who share some really great moments, particularly when one of them finds themselves caring for the other. (D’awww.) The real hero of this episode, however? Sam’s thingamajig. You’ll have to watch to see what I mean by that (…perv). Bonus scoop: Dean has a “fetish,†and we learn what that is. It might be related to something I already mentioned.

Update April 18, 2011
- New CW clip for 6.18 “Frontierlandâ€.
- Danielle Turchiano, from LA TV Insider Examiner, released some tidbits from episode 6.19, “Mommy Dearestâ€. Besides Eve messing with the boys by bringing back Mary Winchester as a demon, the brothers “find a soft spot for two young men who greatly resemble themselves at a younger, simpler time.†That should be interesting as the whole town has been converted to demons.

She also released a preview of this week’s episode 6.18 “Frontierlandâ€. She writes, ““Frontierland†is an episode for those fans who like pop culture references, witty quotables and lots of humorous moments, despite the fact that when the Winchesters first arrive in Ye Olde West, they witness a hanging death of a young man accused of killing his wife.â€
That would be Elias Finch and his death is of the supernatural kind. Finch comes back to kill all those who wronged him. Dean stays behind to deal with him, and gets promoted to sheriff in the process, while Sam goes off to find Samuel Colt and get his method for ‘how to kill an actual Phoenix’. They are on a time limit, so the work needs to be divided.
But not all the episode is set back in time. She writes, “The action is building around Castiel too, with those in heaven not sure if they should be on his side any longer, and it is up to Bobby to step in and offer some help when one angel in particular takes out some aggression on him.†Bobby and Cass as a team…that’s neat!

Update April 8, 2011
– EW’s Sandra Gonzalez has released a new spoiler for 6.17 “My Heart Will Go Onâ€. She also believes very strongly that SPN will be renewed for a 7th season. (Who doesn’t?)
Hi Sandra, I am a BIG fan of both Glee and Supernatural, and I love reading your recaps and spoilers! That being said, I have been praying to our dear lord Grilled Cheesus for news that Supernatural will be renewed for a seventh season. Any chance for some savory Supernatural news?–Jackie
Unless a certain network is looking for a fight, I’m guessing Supernatural is well on its way to renewal. I say that as a fan, of course. And as a warning [cracks knuckles]. On the matter of scoop, I’ll take Supernatural for $400. You know the alternate Titanic-twisted world I mentioned last week? Here’s one change you didn’t see coming in the alt-verse: Bobby’s salvage business has a different name — B & E Scrap Yard. This fact is more important than you think.
Hmmm…I’m guessing B&E stands for Bobby and Ellen, since they are rumored to be married in this alt-universe.

Update April 5, 2011
- EW’s Inside TV released more information about 6.17 “My Heart Will Go Onâ€.
In the April 15 episode, titled “My Heart Will Go On,†Sam and Dean find themselves in an altered reality where everything — from the not-Impala they drive (horror!) to the career of Celine Dion — is different as a result of the Titanic not sinking. But once Supernatural fans get a glimpse of how the ship’s safe arrival to the U.S. affects the world, you might find yourself wishing, like Balthazar (who’s behind the altered world), that the ship never sank. Particularly when you see the circumstances under which Ellen (Samantha Ferris) returns to the fold. If you, like me, bawled like a baby when she and Jo (Alona Tal) were killed off last season, you might shed more than a tear during this episode.
Also great? Many bromantic moments between Dean, Sam, and the “dirty-trenchcoat-wearing angel who’s in love†with them. Not my words

Lots of beautiful BTS photos were taken the last few days of SPN season finale. I have posted a few below. In addition Spoiler TV released some interesting casting news for the finale. “According to IMDb, Kim Johnston Ulrich (Dr.Visyak) will be in the final two episodes of SPN and Demore Barnes will be returning as Raphael in “The Man Who Would Be King.†IMDb isn’t always correct, but Supernatural Hunt did post some BTS photos this weekend and one does show Bobby together with Dr.Visyak.

Update March 31, 2011
- CW released the official synopsis for 6.17 “Frontierlandâ€
SAM AND DEAN RETURN TO THE WILD, WILD WEST — While searching for a way to defeat Eve, Dean stumbles upon Samuel Colt’s (guest star Sam Hennings) journal in the Campbell library. Realizing Samuel might have the answer to their problems, Sam and Dean ask Castiel (Misha Collins) to send them back in time so they can meet the man himself. While Sam is a bit reluctant to time travel, Dean is beside himself with excitement to return to the Wild, Wild West. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin with story by Andrew Dabb, Daniel Loflin & Jackson Stewart (##617).
Update March 28, 2011
– Matt Mitovich’s new article from TV/Line released today, gives some great spoilers from episode 6.18 “Frontierlandâ€. This REALLY perks up a Monday!
Winchesters Gone Wild! | Jensen Ackles got his cowboy on when Supernatural transported the brothers to the Old West for an upcoming episode. “The guys find a formula to battle Eve, the mother of all monsters, but the problem is that the only record of this formula ever existing happened over a 100 years ago,†Ackles previews. “So they call upon their angel friends to give them a time travel experience.†The excursion fit like a glove, says Ackles, who like Dean is a fan of Westerns. “I sent a picture to my father [from this episode], and he wrote back, ‘You’ve been rehearsing this scene since you were six.’†Hopefully he rehearsed it well, because Supernatural pulled out all the stops. “I get to have, like, a high noon shootout, we get to see a hanging,†says Ackles. “We packed a lot into a 42-minute episode. It’s really good.â€

Update March 25, 2011
- Sandra Gonzalez has released more SPN spoilers in her column today in response to a fan question.
How much of this war are we going to see on Supernatural? It would be kind lame for them not to show the thing they’ve been talking about all season, right? — Rachael
Lame? Probably not. My gut tells me it would be for a good reason. Misha Collins agrees with my gut. “We’re not going to see a whole lot of the actual war that’s taking place in heaven. We’re going to see how that plays out with respect to Sam and Dean and their world. But the two definitely collide in the season finale,†he says. Another thing we can expect not to see? Cas in 300-style angel battle gear. “I would love to have some sexy, feathery armor, but I’m not getting any. It’s the same frumpy trench coat and suit,†he laments.

SAM AND DEAN TEMPT FATE — After Balthazar (guest star Sebastian Roche) changes history and keeps the Titanic from sinking, Fate (guest star Katie Walder) intervenes and begins killing those that would have died on the ship. Castiel tells Sam and Dean that Fate is very upset with the two of them and the only way they can stay alive is to kill her.
Update March 23, 2011
- Spoiler TV posted new episode titles for the episodes 6.21 and 6.22. 6.21 is now “Let It Bleed (aka The Haunter of the Darkâ€) and 6.22 is now “The Man Who Knew Too Muchâ€.
- More info from Mike Ausiello in his spoiler column today.
Question: Got any scoop on Supernatural? —Kim
Ausiello: Series creator Eric Kripke warns that the season is “building to a left hook that I don’t think [fans will] see coming. We will bring all of this mythology to a head. We bring purgatory to a head. We bring the war in Heaven to a head. We bring the mother of all monsters — the wall in Sam’s head — to a head. All of it does come together, but I think in a way that’s really unexpected and surprising and really great.†Speaking of that ticking time bomb in Sam’s noggin, how does Kripke (who penned the finale) plan to resolve that? “You don’t want to blow it off,†he says with a laugh. “You don’t want him to be a drooling vegetable on the floor either because that’s not super-exciting to watch last I checked. But I think it’ll be good. I think it’ll be really powerful and emotional. Hopefully, the fans will enjoy it.â€

Update March 18, 2011
- Sandra Gonzalez’s article from EW today released some more comic info on a few upcoming SPN episodes.
I heard Supernatural is going to get pretty serious in the last few episodes, which is sad. I love their funny moments even more than the drama sometimes. Are there any fun episode coming up to break up the sad? — Diandra
I don’t think there are whole episode of funny (See: “The French Mistakeâ€) but there is certainly some funny on the way. The next episode back, for instance, shows us the world that would exist if the Titanic never sank. (Balthazar decides he doesn’t like the end of the movie and decides to save the ship.) “It’s kind of about the butterfly effect of that,†she said. Other exciting moments coming up: Dean’s showdown at high noon. Sam on horseback. A saloon girl hitting on Dean.

Update March 16, 2011
- Ausiello has posted some more spoilers for the ending episodes. All in response to fan questions.
Question: I want a Supernatural scoop! —Julia
Ausiello: You better pray The CW renews the show for a seventh season because “the finale ends on a cliffhanger,†series creator Eric Kripke told TVLine at PaleyFest ’11. “Everyone should be prepared to rip their hair out all summer.†Actually, you might want to start now since, as Kripke adds, “We end [the episode] in the worst possible place for all involved.†Expect the run-up to the big finish to be “pretty mythology-heavy,†says Supe vet Jim Beaver (Bobby). “There are changes in the alliances, and in Castiel’s relationship with the boys and with Bobby.â€
Question: I know I’m in the minority, but I loved Lisa and Ben on Supernatural! Any chance we will see them again? —Elena
Ausiello: “They will be back,†Jensen Ackles confirmed to TVLine at Paleyfest ’11. “I can’t say necessarily how, but that story will be explored and it will be explored heavily. I think there’s a part of [Dean] that was left with them. But I think he knows deep down that it would never work. And I think that’s going to be a very emotional situation that he’s going to have to deal with.â€
Question: Any scoop on the Cas-centric episode of Supernatural? —Tammy
Ausiello: Who better to tackle that question then Ben Edlund, the writer/director behind the May sweeps outing: “It’s kind of him looking over his life. And as we move toward the end of this season, Cas is going to make some very, very big, difficult choices. He takes stock of what his life is as an angel and what it’s been since the Winchesters came into it and what that’s meant to him. It’s a pretty interesting character portrait [and] it leads to a pretty interesting path. We’ll [also] see some elements of Heaven, a very kaleidoscopic place. We’ll reveal some things about the mechanics of Heaven.â€

What’s going to happen with Castiel (Misha Collins) and Raphael on Supernatural? — Nathan
NATALIE: We’ll let executive producer Eric Kripke lay it out for you: “The battle with Raphael and the war in heaven gets hotter and hotter. Castiel’s really backed against a corner as he’s just battling to stop the evil forces in heaven,” Kripke says. “He’s assembling as powerful an arsenal as he possibly can,” Collins adds. “He’s going to use all of those weapons to the best of his ability.” One of those weapons is Castiel’s lieutenant angel, Rachel, who viewers will soon meet.

Update March 15, 2011
- EW’s Sandra Gonzalez has SPN spoilers in an article she released today in repose to fans questions.
So, we all know you went to the Supernatural panel at PaleyFest. So DISH! — Amanda
How ever did you know? It was probably the sound of the heaven’s opening up that alerted you. Anyway, to add to the season finale scoop I posted this weekend, Jim Beaver also told me that as we cruise through the rest of the season we can expect to see a lot more of a group dynamic, meaning more Bobby and Cass!! “The last few episodes of the season are very much a team effort. My sense of it is it’s not a lot of us going off on our separate ways. It’s a lot of us working together on the big questions facing us and we answer a few of them – but not all of them,†he said. As for what questions will be answered, he couldn’t say much, but offered up this extreme tease: “Certain relationships among the group have some rather climactic shifts. Don’t expect the four of us to all be relating the same way at the end of the season as we were at the beginning.â€
So happy for you that you finally met the Supernatural boys. I’m hoping you brought some scoop back for us! — Jen
Was my desperation that obvious? And yes, I bring you back word on the big reappearance of Momma Winchester (Samantha Smith) in one of the future episodes. Jensen Ackles hinted that her return may not be a welcomed one. “She comes back under some different circumstances. And whenever she shows her face – especially for Dean – it’s very difficult and very emotional,†he told me. “Especially when she comes back different and is trying to trick them or a demon is using her to lure them into something. We just shot a scene with Sam, who’s fantastic, and we love it when she comes back for any reason. Evil or not.â€
Please bring us scoop on Supernatural! – Megan
Do I detect a theme here? All right, so despite a montage hinting that we’d reached a conclusion to the Lisa and Ben story, Ackles told me there will be a more definitive end to the story of Dean’s domestication and time with the mother-son pair. “That, I believe, is going to be a weak point or an achilles heel at some point,†he said. “There’s definitely a conclusion that comes, and it’s a very emotional conclusion.â€

- The season finally scoop she posted earlier was from Parleyfest and has Sam dealing with a crumbled wall.
“We’re going to deal head-on with the story of what happens when those memories come flooding loose. That’s in the finale, which I just wrote and turned into Sera [Gamble] yesterday,†Kripke revealed.
“We’re saving the best for last — and the scariest for last. It does come down, and as Death warned, it’s a catastrophe,†Padalecki told EW. “Sam has to battle something he’s never battled before, which is himself.â€
In related finale scoop: Kripke said fans can look for everything to “come to a head,†including the war in heaven, the showdown with the Mother of All, and the mystery behind Purgatory. “It’s just sort of turning everything up into a high boil,†he said.

Update March 14 2011
So many spoilers and videos from Paleyfest this weekend it’s hard to know where to begin. A lot of information was released about the SPN upcoming western episode 6.17 “Frontierland†directed by Guy Bee. A new clip from it was release in which we see a very reserved Sam in a western shirt, which he covers with his jacket, not to keen on his trip into the past, and a very boyishly happy Dean all decked out in hat, boots and Mexican serape, which Cass views as a blanket.
In search of the colt and a creature called Phoenix, Cass sends the boys back to Sunrise, Wyoming on March5, 1861 for 24hrs. Bobby stays behind but sends the boys with a duffle bag full of guns and dragon lair loot. Sam does have the cool cowboy hat hidden in his jacket and Dean gets to be the sheriff of the town and gets involved in a classic gunfight at high noon.

- Bobby is in all the remaining episodes in which he works close with Dean, Sam and Cass, and the last two will tie up some of the plots the series has started this year.
- Episodes 6.21 and 6.22 are hour long back to back episodes not a 2 hours movie although Kripke and Gamble did contemplate that originally. Kripke states, “…there are so many mythology balls up in the air,” he professed during the panel, “in the end, in order to tie up all the loose threads, it’s very episodic.†He continues saying that ‘Because of this, both episodes will stand alone, with certain aspects of the mythology tied up in the first hour, and another group tied up in the second hour, all leading up to … a cliffhanger ending!’ Kripke also acknowledge ‘that there are a number of “curveballs and twists” in the season’s final episodes, which have certainly thrown our brothers for a loop.’
- Misha stated that Castiel will play a large part in the remaining episodes especially in Ben Edlund’s written-and-directed episode 6.20, ‘The Man Who Would Be King’, which will be told from Castiel’s POV. We also will meet a new ally for Cass, Rachel who will be a “trusted lieutenant” for him. Seems Cass will be getting in ‘way over his head’ in his fight against Raphael, and yes, we get to see more showdowns between the two.
- Ben Edlund talked more about the episode saying the episode will be “very emotional” and “bring to fruition some serious friendships” leading into the finale. He also quipped that we’ll be seeing some flashbacks to Castiel’s childhood, but we’d take that joke with a grain of salt.â€
- Rumors were still flying about Crowley making an appearance in the same episode.
– Jared did say that the trials and tribulations for Soulless!Sam are not over. We will see more of his dealing with them in the remaining episodes.
The possibility of a season seven was mentioned and while no official announcement has been made, it did seem that all facets of the series were gearing up for the next season. And the cliffhanger does leave the boys in trouble. (So what else is new!)
To see an excellent spoiler clip from AOL’s interviews with some of the cast and crew,
- TV Guide also talked with Jensen Jared, Sera Gamble and Eric Kripke. Seems that in the last two episodes the boys will come face to face with Eve and ‘that the season finale will feature at least two unexpected deaths.’
“There will definitely be deaths,” said Gamble, who penned the penultimate episode for Season 6. “I would say that the last couple of episodes are pretty dark. The situation is rather desperate for Sam and Dean and they truly have to ban together to get the job done.” Kripke stated, “”It’s epic and daunting,” Misha Collins, who plays Castiel, added, “The final confrontation is definitely not what anyone is expecting. It is, however, larger and more epic than the viewers are expecting.”
The interviews also stated that Sam will again deal with his amnesia and, Kripke says.” …. and in the finale, the wall falls down.”
As for how the brothers relationship ends in the finale, Kripke says, “The truth, however daunting it may be, will not tear apart the brothers. “We’re actually enjoying that, for the first time in a long time, the brothers are a really strong, cohesive unit, so we’re going to keep them like that for the foreseeable future.”

Update March 12, 2011
According to Buddy TV the last two episodes of the season are “The Haunter of The Dark Parts 1 and 2.” Yes, a two parter! The last (and only time) that happened was with “All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1 and 2.” Just like those two episodes, according to Jim Beaver’s recent tweet, this two part finale is written by Sera Gamble (part 1) and Eric Kripke (part 2). Here’s the post from John Kubicek:
Episodes 6.21 and 6.22: “The Haunter of the Dark, Parts 1 and 2” (May 20)
This marks the first time since season 2’s “All Hell Breaks Loose” that Supernatural has done a definite two-parter, which carries a lot of weight since that episode saw Sam die, Dean make a deal to give up his soul for his brothers, Azazel succeed in opening the Devil’s Gate, and Azazel die with an assist from a dead John.
The episode gets its title from an H.P. Lovecraft story. My loose attempt to understand it reveals that The Haunter of the Dark is about a supernatural creature brought forth with great knowledge, but which demands a huge sacrifice. Apparently this force, the Haunter of the Dark, takes over the main character but is then struck by lightening and killed. I won’t pretend to know what it all means, but it sounds vaguely like the end of last season when Sam, taken over by Lucifer, jumped into the cage.
What does this have to do with the season 6 finale? Maybe there are ties to Sam, the cage, Lucifer, Michael (and the Winchesters’ half-brother Adam) and the Mother of All? To be fair, I’m a little confused by what I’ve read about the Lovecraft story, so if anyone has any better ideas, I’d love to hear them.
Check out the entire article, for it has some great information on the last six episodes of the season.

I’m excited for Christian! I hope they get someone like Jeremy Sisto for it, not a divine-attractive person but a quirky-attractive person, not to be shallow or anything. And I do hope Mark Sheppard comes back, though not as the Big Bad because I liked when he interacted with the boys as an ally that they absolutely did not want to be working with.
And I believe that was the promo ad for Supernatural’s part of the CW Emmy campaign.
Season 6! I’m so pumped.
Alice,
I’m stoked you got the spoilers page up and running. WIP works for me as this is a season in progress so it makes sense.
I think Jensen commented at a panel at the recent Rising Con in Barcelona that he suspected Lisa would be around for about three eps. Since I don’t believe he had any official word on the season’s plans he was either speculating or he at least had that bit hinted to him. That’s where I read it though.
I’m up to date on all the spoilers you’ve posted here though and they get me pretty excited.
Jim tweeted (I have no access to any twits or tweets or chirps or whatever but I do check his page) that he’s in Vancouver and off to work (that was this morning) and that he’s very excited about Season 6 as a whole. He spoke with Sera Gamble a few weeks ago about Season 6 and he was very happy and stated that [we] “ain’t seen nothing yet.”
As for the start date, CBS has been announcing a few premier dates with NCIS slated to premier on Tuesday September 28th which I also believe is consistent with how it worked last season with SPN airing two weeks prior to that. Should hear/read something on that soon.
Filming begins today!
Thanks for this updates Alice.
I am slightly surprised that the episode that Jensen directs is going to be Episode 4. At the con in Barcelona he told us it will be Episode 3 and that we all should support that episode and tell everybody how well it was directed, no matter if it is true or not 😉 .
YEA…Shepherd is back! And yeah, I think he is going to be the new bad guy too. That’s why he helped Sam and Dean. With Lilith and Luci out of the way, he has free run of the place! Be neat to see how he acts with the boys.
Bummed that they set the openner for the 24th! Why so late I wonder?
Sablegreen,
I’m bummed too…but, we’ll keep the SPN fires burning extra hot to get us all through. As for the date, don’t know but Smallville premiered last year this late as well, perhaps it’s ’cause these reruns do so much better that CW can afford to allow them to go a couple extra weeks…don’t know. At least if they do give us ten eps in a row to start off the season the mid-season hellatus won’t be so long.
🙂
Rats. I wasn’t going to look and then my finger just sort of clicked away and now I’m all impatient and hungry for more and it’s months and months! Crowley! Be still my beating heart … 😀
Mmm Corin Nemec’s attractive. I’m not sure how I’ll like Sam and Dean having family, but if I don’t and all their cousins look like that I can just put it on mute and stare at them. 🙂
The rumor is Christian is married and the wife and kid are the other two recurring roles Gwen and Mark My guess: the Campbells and boys do some hunting together. At least I hope so!
Thanks for this page, Alice!
Maureen Ryan has a new, very spoilery interview up at her site:

Spoiler TV has quite a few new set photos from Supernatural just posted today (or last night). Pretty cool shots. I could definitely tell when I was looking at photos of Jared and Jensen and when the person caught photos of Sam and Dean…cool.
Pretty rocking stunt that was filmed…makes me wonder if Sam (Sally LOL) loses his car after this particular episode….
What are the links? I just found the ‘4 floor fall’ stunt. Any others let me know.
Never mind, I found them. really cool shots! It’s rumored that the green Charger is Sam’s car….the one he has been driving for the last year.
So SAM introduces Dean to the family?
Suddenly I like the idea of them a whole lot more. I dunno why.
@ Kristen: “Sadly, we hear that it’s not a good idea to trust Supernatural’s newest hunter, aka Sam and Dean’s apparently resurrected grandpa, Samuel Campbell. Phooey.”
Ouch.
Hmmmm! Interesting that David Paetkau should be listed as a guest star since Mark was ‘killed’ in the last episode. Course, this is Supernatural and the dead rarely stay dead. I wonder… in what form will he return???
“I’m told there’s a really cool twist coming up regarding something that is missing.”
Oh, my God!!! It’s the Amulet, it’s the Amulet, it’s the Amulet. 😀 I know it. I love you Sera Gamble. 😀 😀
I just saw on another list that promo photos have been posted for Ep. 6.10 – http://www.buddytv.com/slideshows/supernatural/supernatural-episode-610-photos-caged-heat-69064.aspx
Enjoy!
Wow! Jim Beaver is a real gift to this show, on screen and off.
He’s worth 10 CW PR departments.
I’m enjoying this season (with a couple of reservations) but his posts give me hope there’s a (good) payoff coming. 😀
The French Mistake, perhaps this is the one that is Sam and Dean waking up in show called Supernatural with two characters named Jensen and Jared…
I’m scared by the funeral photos!!
I have a really bad feeling about that!
Why do I feel is Rufus th one in the grave? 🙁
Oh My God, Stetsons! I see Stetsons! Can the suspense get even worse? Can’t wait to see that episode. Cowboys… if I wasn’t awake before, I am now!
:-), Jas
Stensens and vests! And now, thanks to CW, we won’t get to see it until sometime in April. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
The guy playing Samuel Colt is perfect casting.
I agree. Actually that is an older picture. He is really more ‘rugged’ looking than that now.
BTS photos are awesome! I mean, doesn’t it look like Jared’s gonna bust a move or make a jam?
I am so lame. 😐
Hi HotChocolate…Yes it does. According to Susan, this was a rare day on the set. Usually both boys are not allowed out in the open when filming on location, and the one that is, is positioned to keep his back to on-lookers. This day was different. They practically mingled with visitors, talked to reporters and even had photos taken with some of the fans. Wish I had been there! Must be the panda hat! LOL
I think, from watching the previews and then the spoiler that we’ll see Ellen again, (and of course the stills) that Sam and Dean are gunna get crushed by the big air-conditioner thing and get sent to heaven for a while. Or maybe the ressurect her or call on her spirit for answers or something. 😮
I just heard word that season 7 for Supernatural is a go!
I read it
