Supernatural Brainteasers #1
Think you know #Supernatural? Let’s put all that time spent rewatching 327 hours of heart stopping broments to the test! Below are six questions to ponder for a few days. These aren’t trivia questions that ask for impossibly hard details that you never notice while you’re holding your breath in terror and/or staring at the fiendishly good looks of our heroes. No, instead these are brain teasers with answers that are buried deep in your mind, revealed by letting your conscious and subconscious mind play back all your SPNFamily knowledge. In other words, they’re questions that give you an excuse to think about Supernatural day and night (like you need another excuse to do that!)!
Think about them when you’re standing in a torturously long line.
Think about them on those long, backroads road trips.
Think about them when you can’t sleep at night.
Jot answers down on your phone, PC or a little notebook you keep handy.
Whenever you call it quits, add up all your points and see how you did! Don’t Worry: Hints are generously supplied to get you started!
Brain Teaser #1 (Difficulty Level: Very Hard)
Supernatural began its 15 year journey with a simply-named episode, “Pilot”. Over the years, the series accumulated a total of 49 episodes with 1-word titles. Name as many as you can without sneaking a peek at valuable research sites like WFB‘s “Episode Guides” or Supernaturalwiki‘s “Episodes” list! (Total Possible Points: 49)
Brain Teaser #2 (Difficulty Level: Very Hard)
Sometimes one word just isn’t enough, though. 27 episode titles were made up of 6 of more words. They’re the episodes we always abbreviate with an acronym because they’re too long to write out fully! Name as many as you can. Again, no cheating! (Total Possible Points: 27)
Brain Teaser #3 (Difficulty Level: Easy)
It seems one of the early criteria for an actor to become a member of the Winchester “family” was having a first name that begins with the letter J. Name the 5 “family” actors whose name begins with ‘J.’ (Total Possible Points: 5)
Brain Teaser #4 (Difficulty Level: Easy)
The second most popular letter that predicted success in Supernatural cast members’ first names was M. Name the 3 regular or recurring actors whose first names begin with an M. (Total Possible Points: 3)
Brain Teaser #5 (Difficulty Level: Hard)
Hunters, family, friends and enemies came and went fairly quickly in Supernatural’s story, but it was particularly difficult for the women to not get killed off before we really got to know them. Name the 9 women (actress or character name) who appeared the most in Supernatural‘s 15 years. Hint: Pretty sure one name will surprise you. (Total Possible Points: 9)
Brain Teaser #6 (Difficulty Level: Medium)
In “The French Mistake”, 7 people associated with the show are represented in the episode but are played or voiced by other people. Name as many as you can. (Total Possible Points: 7)

- I’m the Co-Editor-in-Chief, Social Media Manager (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram), Live Tweet Moderator, reviewer and feature writer for The Winchester Family Business. Before joining the Supernatural Family, I worked for 22 years at a global consulting firm, but after years of long hours, high pressure and rigorous demands, I quit corporate life to raise my children. After my first Supernatural convention, I was driven to share my shock and awe in a two-part essay that The WFB was brave enough to post, and my second life calling, that of being a writer, began. My first published book, Fan Phenomena: The Twilight Saga was released in late 2016. Please share in my cross-fandom excitement by following its Facebook page @FanPhenomenaTwilight and my personal Twitter account @LSAngel2. You can read about this whole miraculous transition in my chapter in Family Don’t End With Blood, published in May 2017.
