Episode twenty-one is not about smiles, hugs and humour. Over the years we’ve said goodbye to favourite characters, we’ve watched brutal exchanges between Sam and Dean and seen devastating realizations come over our boys at the worst moments. As heartbreaking as these moments have been – these have been some of the best episodes too. What is the most impactful episode or scene in the last thirteen years? Does Dean yelling Sam’s name in AHBL: Part One still stand out for you as number one? Does your heart race during Dean’s battle with Abaddon – the intensity and darkness in those moments? Charlie’s sacrifice for her boys still makes me tearful. How about you?
