Supernatural Season 13 Spoilers From TV Line And Others Updated!
Question: Please tell me there’s a chance Supernatural will do the right thing and give us some Crowley in Season 13. —April Ausiello: Mark Sheppard may’ve closed the door on his character’s return, but the show hasn’t. “We love Mark,” executive producer Andrew Dabb tells TVLine. “We think he’s awesome, and he’s been great on the show. At this point in time, [his potential return] is a little up in the air. Where we took Crowley, where he ended up, made sense for us in a lot of different ways. I would never write off anyone coming back on the show, but I’d be lying to you if I said there were plans to bring him back in, like, Episode 3.”

Spoil me crazy, please! —Cordell Ausiello: At Comic-Con, Jensen Ackles teased that the installment is “very Scooby-Doo-esque,” but “slightly darker.” And, yes, the boys will definitely get animated. (Ackles’ reaction to his cartoon self? “‘Yes!’ How cool is that? I grew up watching Scooby-Doo. Now I’m, like, on it.”) And while executive producer Andrew Dabb says the hour is “about as far outside of the box as we get” in Season 13, there is anotherfun adventure in store for the Winchesters. “We’ve got an episode coming up after our midseason break, which we’re essentially titling ‘Stakes on a Train,’” Dabb shares. “It’s our version of a train heist with vampires.”
What’s happening with Hell now that Crowley’s dead on Supernatural? — Mara
It’s pretty much what you’d imagine. When one leader falls, another must step up. But the question is: Who will earn their spot in Hell’s throne? (Hint: It might be someone we’ve never met before.) “There is a power vacuum,” showrunner Andrew Dabb says of the situation in Hell. “Into that power vacuum will step a new player for us. Once Crowley is gone, demon-kind and some of our players — some we’ve met before and some that are new — start asking themselves: What is the future of Hell? People come with various different agendas.”

Where We Left Off: After dealing with the British Men of Letters, the The Winchesters (Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) turned their sights to defeating Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) for what felt like the hundredth time. They managed to trap him in an alternate universe, but not before he seemingly killed Castiel (Misha Collins) and took Mary (Samantha Smith) with him. Oh, and in case you thought it could not get worse, it was Crowley’s sacrifice (Mark Sheppard) that closed the rip between worlds. And that was before they discovered Luci’s adult son Jack, played by new Season 13 regular Alexander Calvert. So yeah, it wasn’t exactly a picnic.
The Scoop: Although Crowley is dead, the finale wasn’t the last we’ll see of Castiel; Collins is confirmed to appear in Season 13, though it’s not clear in what capacity. Mary is also not dead, though she remains trapped in the alternate universe. The Winchesters will struggle over which problem to contend with first: their missing mom or Lucifer’s son. As if that’s not bad enough, someone from the brothers’ past will return to cause even more problems (apparently a number of people who are dead in this universe are alive and kicking in the alternate universe, so that’s GREAT.)Elsewhere, in less depressing news, this fall the series will air a backdoor pilot for Wayward Sisters, the spin-off featuring Sheriff Jodi Mills and the young female hunters in her care who’ve been orphaned by supernatural tragedy. We’ll also see the Supernatural boys get animated when the show teams up with Scooby-Doo for an episode that we can only assume will end with Sam and Dean pulling a mask off someone’s face and being utterly confused that it wasn’t a real ghost.
