Memorable Moments: Supernatural 12.21 “There’s Something About Mary”
Welcome back to the Memorable Moments series! For 12.21 “There’s Something About Mary”, I once again put together a list of what I felt were the best and most memorable moments from the episode. The list varies from episode to episode depending on what has transpired. I hope you enjoy it and share what your picks would be!
Best Broment
Looking for bugs in the bunker….
…finding it….
…then setting up the BMOL.
Best Sam Moment
As Lady Bevell goes to take the gun from Sam….
Sam overtakes her and shoots one of the BMOL agents.
Best Dean Moment
Dean sneaking up behind Ketch and disarming him.
Best Crowley and Lucifer Moment
After learning that Crowley’s powers are moving into him, Lucifer decides to try it out.
He first touches his chin.
Then Crowley does the same without noticing.
Lucifer sticks out his tongue…
…Which Crowley copies
After a few more test Crowley starts realizing something is going on.
Lucifer then shows Crowley that he is now in charge.
Saddest Moment
Eileen being killed by a Hell Hound…..
…controlled by Ketch.
A shocked and ….
anguished Sam getting the news….
and upon seeing Eileen’s battered body in the morgue….
Sam’s anguish continues….
Then after reading the letter from Eileen informing them she’s being followed by the BMOL and asking if she can stay with them.
Sam is not only feeling the loss of Eileen, but guilt and regret for not getting to this letter sooner.
Biggest Betrayals
Crowley working with Dr. Hess and the BMOL. Also that he had supplied the Hell Hound that killed Eileen.
Ketch informing Lady Bevell that she is to remain in the bunker to die.
Mary in her brain washing state sides with Ketch and holds guns against her sons and leaves them to die in the bunker.
Leaving the brothers shocked and crushed.
Most Moving/Powerful Moment
Mary informs Ketch that she’s losing her mind and isn’t sure if this is real. She also knows that she has been killing fellow hunters. ‘I killed someone. He was my friend’
Mary manages to take Ketches gun and tries to shoot herself. But Ketch is able to get it off her.
Mary then begs Ketch to kill her. ‘Then you do it. Kill me. All my life all I ever had, other than my family, was my will. And it’s going away. I’m putting people in danger, I’m putting my sons in danger. You have to, please. For God’s sake kill me!
