Fan Video of the Week Ultimate Edition: Supernatural 11.03-07 (Part 1)
The Bad Seed
“Although the life of a person is in a land full of thorns and weeds, there is always a space in which the good seed can grow. You have to trust God.” – Pope Francis
This video was an easy choice. I actually found a video that is just as relevant now as when it was made. In this episode, Sam and Dean helped Castiel get rid of the curse that was making him violent. They fought for him to get his free will back. So the theme for choosing this video was Team Free Will. Through the years many players have helped TFW, some voluntarily and some not so voluntarily. In this episode they got help from Rowena, who was inclined not to help them. She made a deal instead. I for one have loved every person associated with TFW, but like always, being a member in TFW has a great cost. Lives have been lost defending free will but those that have passed away are never forgotten.

Holding on and Letting go by Ross Copperman
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody listening?
Does anybody really know?
If it’s the end of our beginning,
A cry
A rush
From one breath
Is all we’re waiting for
Sometimes the one we’re taking
Changes every one before
[Chorus]
It’s everything you wanted, it’s everything you don’t
It’s one door swinging open and one door swinging closed
Some prayers find an answer
Some prayers never know
We’re holding on and letting go
Sometimes we’re holding angels
And we never even know
Don’t know if we’ll make it,
But we know,
We just can’t let it show
[Chorus]
It’s everything you wanted, it’s everything you don’t
It’s one door swinging open and one door swinging closed
Some prayers find an answer
Some prayers never know
We’re holding on and letting go
Yeah, letting go
It’s everything you wanted, it’s everything you don’t
It’s one door swinging open and one door swinging closed
Some prayers find an answer
Some prayers never know
We’re holding on and letting go
[Chorus]
It’s everything you wanted, it’s everything you don’t
It’s one door swinging open and one door swinging closed
Some prayers find an answer
Some prayers never know
We’re holding on and letting go.

Quotes:
Sam: God kicked this thing’s ass once before, right?
Dean: Yeah, it’d be nice if he put down the Mai Tai and showed up for work.
Castiel: I wouldn’t count on that.
Demon: You know our two operations will always butt heads, that’s the set up. But this. We could be out of work.
Angel: Yeah. We get knocked out, it takes over.
Demon: Someone’s gotta do something.
Angel: Someone?
Demon: Yeah. If management won’t, it’s up to the little guy.
Angel: Yeah, I hear ya.
Demon: Power to the people, my friend.
Angel: Well, not actually people.
Demon: You know what I mean.

Those are some sweet posters!
They are really great. I am glad she liked the idea that I could include them to the articles. I fell in love to them immediately. 🙂

Hi Lilah. I enjoyed this article with all the videos and bonus poster art. @Alice_Mars _Mann does beautiful work. I hope to see see more of her art in your future articles and part 2 of this one. My favorite poster was Amara-The Darkness Has Returned. For the video I am going to have to go with with Supernatural Impala Highway to Hell. Because well, Highway to Hell 🙂 Thanks.
You have good choices! That Amara poster is one of my favorites too. She will be glad to hear all the feedback for her art. And Highway to hell is pretty fitting for the road the boys are taking and for Baby. It felt like what ever I wrote and chose for that episode was not enough to give it the credit it deserved. Glad you liked the articles and the art!

Team free will was very well done. It made me cry. Videos about the Impala don’t do much for me, but my 18 year old son would like them. He loves classic cars. I appreciate the work people put into these, thanks for the article.
Glad you liked it! 🙂
