Top 10 Creepy Kids of Supernatural – Part 2
Children being monsters literally freaks me out. They are creepy. I can handle almost anything else but monster children is not one of them, and Supernatural has had some really creepy and memorable child monsters! In part 1 of this series, I listed the Top 10 creepiest child monsters of Supernatural’s first 10 seasons. There have been so many more creepy children, though! A top 10 list just wasn’t enough! So here is my list of Honorable Mentions for creepiest, scariest, most memorable child monsters!
Honorable mentions:
Bloody Mary, Vengeful Spirit
Episode: 1.05 “Bloody Mary”
Because of her age I couldn’t really use her on the top list so I brought her to honorable mentions. In this episode, Mary Worthington was a 19 year old girl from Indiana. The brothers traveled to Indiana and spoke to the police detective who worked on her case to find out about her.
The story that was told was that someone broke into her apartment, murdered her, and cut out her eyes with a knife. Before she died in front of a large mirror, she tried to spell out her killer’s name but only managed the letters T-R-E. A surgeon named Trevor Sampson was suspected but nothing was ever proven and her murder went unsolved.
An urban legend that says that anyone who chants the words Bloody Mary three times in front of a mirror will summon a vengeful spirit. This spirit has been reported to do a variety of things to the person who summons her, including killing the person, scratching their eyes out, driving them mad or pulling them into the mirror with the spirit โ generally referred to as the spirit of a woman or even a witch.
This is an old legend, but in 1978 a folklorist named Janet Langlois published an essay on Bloody Mary, which led to the tale becoming a popular slumber party ritual done by girls as well as boys. No one knows the origins of the Bloody Mary legend; over the years, she has been rumored to be anything from a witch that was killed for practicing witchcraft to a modern-day woman killed in a car crash, depending on what part of the country you live in. – 1.05 “Bloody Mary”, Official Website
Joe and Ryan Silver, Jefferson Starships
Episode: 6.19 “Mommy Dearest”
Eve called him “the perfect monster”, referring to the monster in the form of Ryan Silver and of the mass-infection that he inadvertently would help spread. If the boys would have survived, who knows what havoc they would have released.
Bobby: Well, congrats. You discovered it, you get to name it.
Dean: Jefferson Starships. Because they’re horrible and hard to kill.
Lilith, First Demon
Episodes: 3.12 Jus in Bello, 3.16 No Rest for the Wicked, 4.06 Yellow Fever
Lilith arrives at the sheriff’s office in the form of a young girl holding hands with a grownup, then she tortures and kills everyone there. This first version was more scary than her appearance in the next two episodes. The girl she possessed wasn’t that scary either. That is why she was not higher up on the list. Even if she was a killer and bloody in the next episode, a fear factor was missing from her. The hallucination was a little bit more scary but no where near the top 10.
Tammi: Comments? Questions? Hmm, Sammy Winchester, wow! Right here in our little town. You know, my friends and I, we’ve been looking for you.
Sam: Why? Oh, right, ’cause I’m supposed to lead some piss poor demon army.
Tammi: No, not at all. You’re not our Messiah. We don’t believe in you. But, there’s a new leader rising in the West โ a real leader. That’s the horse to bet on, Sam, the one who’s gonna tear this world apart. Thing is, this demon? It doesn’t like you very much. It doesn’t want the competition.– 3.09 Malleus Maleficarum
Bela: I know, and saved yourself. I know about your deal, Dean.
Dean: And who told you that?
Bela: The Demon that holds it. She holds mine too. She said she holds every deal.
Dean: She?
Bela: Her name’s Lilith.
Dean: Lilith? Why should I believe you?
Bela: You shouldn’t but it’s the truth.
Dean: This can’t help you, Bela , not now. Why you telling me this?
Bela: Because just maybe you can kill the bitch.– 3.15 Time Is on My Side
Missy Bender, Human Cannibal
Episode: 1.15 The Benders
You know. I really do have something against cannibals because well, they eat people and are humans. This family was all kinds of crazy. Missy Bender is the youngest of the Benders. She is the daughter of Pa Bender and the sister of Jared and Lee Bender. The same actress played Dean’s daughter in the amazon episode.
Sam: What are they? Have you seen them?
Jenkins: What are you talking about?
Sam: Whateverโs got us, whatโd they look like?
Jenkins: See for yourself.Sam: Iโll be damned. Theyโre just people.
Annie, Leviathan
Episode: 7.02 Hello, Cruel World
Wonders never cease. A Leviathan that was slightly scary in season seven. Annie was discreet, and when they met to discuss their fellow Leviathans, Edgar tells Annie that “the boss” wants the others to be kept in line. Annie wasn’t long lived. Unfortunately the other Leviathans were.
Man: You got yourself an awfully small body.
Possessed little girl: Too small. She didnโt know anything. Canโt even see over the counter.
Man: Well this one, Edgar, Edgar worked on something called a demolitions crew. Watching things blow up is apparently very satisfying.
Possessed little girl: Annie? Knew where babies come from. Disgusting, by the way. Iโm hungry. We all are.
Dirk McGregor, Vengeful Spirit
Episode: 4.13 After School Special
As it turns out, by his freshman year Dirk had just watched his mother die of cancer. He later turned to bad ways and was dead himself before he graduated. People called him “Dirk the Jerk” a nickname Sam came up with after beating him in a fistfight outside the school. Now he had a grudge against bullies.
Dean: When did, uh — when did Dirk pass?
Mr. McGregor: He was 18.
Sam: What happened to him?
Mr. McGregor: Well, there was, first, drinking, then drugs, and then too many drugs. And then he just slipped through my fingers. It was my fault. I should have seen it coming, you know? Dirk, he, uh — he had his troubles.
Dean: What kind of troubles?
Mr. McGregor: School was never easy for Dirk. We didn’t have much money, and, well, you know, kids — they can be cruel. They picked on him.
Sam: They picked on him?
Mr. McGregor: They called him poor and dirty and stupid. They even had a nickname for him — Dirk the jerk. And after what happened to his mother, heโฆ
Sam: His mother?
Mr. McGregor: Yeah, Jane, my wife. She died when Dirk was 13. Cancer. I was working three jobs, so it fell to Dirk to take care of her. And he was a great kid. He made sure Jane got her medicine. He helped her, cleaned up after her. But, you know, you — you watch somebody die slow, waste away to nothing… it does things to a person. Horrible things.
Callie Garrison, Vengeful Spirit
Episode: 3.05 Bedtime Stories
Callie was not herself scary but the monsters she created were. She had been in a coma since she was eight because her step mother poisoned her. They find the doctor reading fairy tales to a young woman, who looks exactly like an older version of the spirit Dean saw. He is her father and Callie was trying to tell him something.
Dean: So… Little girl, shiny red apple. I’m guessing that means something to you, fairy tale boy?
Sam: I think it’s Snow White.
Dean: Snow White? Ah I saw that movie. Or the porn version anyway, ’cause there was this wicked Stepmother? Woo, she was wicked.
So there are my lists of the creepiest kids of Supernatural! Do they keep you up at night too? Did I leave a child monster out who should be on the two lists?

Thanks Lilah (it should be noted I wrote Lilith here and had to go back and edit it:p) for the final installment of the creepy kids. I loved the Come, Little Children video. I already said who I thought were the creepiest children on the 1st installment but it was nice to have some of these video refreshers ๐ Bloody Mary crawling out of the mirror, creepy. I remember when I first saw that type of image in The Grudge (I believe). Nice effect. I think my favorite creepy kid of all time was the little anti Christ boy in the original The Omen. Damien. I do love my creepy kids.
Glad you liked it! Bloody Mary did creep me out. It doesn’t have that effect for all, but also I have the same effect from Damien, the girl in The Exorcist, the girl in the Ring movies. I just really, really, really don’t like them… In a good way? ๐

What about those creepy kids living in the walls? I thought they were the creepiest of all! Really, really icky. I almost couldn’t watch them. Maybe they weren’t really kids any more?

I think you mean these siblings:
Number 7
Gibson siblings, Girl and boy in the wall
Episode: 4.11 “Family Remains”
They got to number seven of the top ten so I do agree that they are creepy. Top 10 was overall good in creepiness so it was hard to list them. ๐

Oh yeah, I’d forgotten that they were on the other half of the list. They just completely gave me the heebie-jeebies.
They were definitely up there on the creep scale and even higher on the yuk scale. They were so feral and insane.
Both lists were pretty great.

5.06 – I Believe the Children Are Our Future, The boy antichrist Jesse Turner wasn’t on them but I think he was more of a good guy in the end and not a monster.
7.03 – The girl next door, Jacob Pond – Kitsune.
8.20 – Pac-Man Fever we had also a Djinn boy.
These were not that scary though but monster children nevertheless.
Thanks for reading! I think I saw few of these on the video. I am weird but I didn’t see Jesse a bad guy or a monster even if he sort of was. And you found two more also.
