Live Chat with Nicki Aycox of Supernatural this Friday June 19

This past Sunday I was recording some vocals in a friends home studio. It was a sort of pre production. Often times, it helps me to move forward and form new ideas. It is easy to get stuck in all the thoughts I “think” I am doing wrong. It is normal that once I start hearing the progression of the song, I realize all those nasty little thoughts of “failing” where just not a reality. They were road blocks, set up by my own mind, hindering me from moving forward. On the way home, I thought about how art and expression can be so positive for your soul. I thought how amazing it was that I could spend a few hours singing words into a microphone, and I suddenly felt refreshed. I wanted to share this secret with many.
