So Sam will do whatever he can to save Dean. Dean will do whatever he can to save the world from himself. Cas asks Crowley for help. Sam threatens Rowena. This looks like an action packed finale. What will Sam do? Will Crowley help save Dean? Will Rowena try to kill Crowley? Will Crowley try to kill Rowena? What do you think will happen? Tell us in the comments.
No scythe in this clip . I’m still scared this sharp looking thing will sever the bond between the brothers somehow.
What the hell? Castiel is willing to kill Dean?
I don’t really think Cas is willing to kill Dean, I think Sam is just speaking metaphorically. Besides Dean can’t be killed, by Cas or by anyone. I mean, they can kill his mortal body, but that won’t solve anything, just make things worse so I can’t really see Cas wanting that. I’m tired of Sam basically saying “I want to save Dean” for the millionth time this season. We know, we get it, have him DO something. If the Book isn’t working have him TRY something else. I am kind of dreading this episode really. I am concerned that so much of what they have been building up this season will end up meaning nothing and I am doubly concerned that they are raving that bus engine so mow Sam down once again this season. They’ve done it in season 8 AND season 9, so why should season 10 be any different?
I got the feeling that Cas is contemplating the possibility of letting Dean die instead of attempting a spell that Sam wants to use.
So Sam saying, “You wanna kill Dean because I don’t?!” might be about Sam attempting to get Cas to agree to the plan. If Cas refused, Cas being willing to kill Dean would be the only conclusion since Cas thinks that Dean will eventually murder the world because of the mark. They are going to have to do whatever it takes to save Dean. Otherwise they would have to figure out a way to kill Dean.
Minor spoiler for the finale!

In this promo, Dean says to Death, “I want you to kill me.”

Is Dean asking Death to kill him so he becomes a Demon – Or can Death kill him for good like Dead Dead no come back as a Demon ?? Or has this got something to do with Dean’s vessel that we have heard whispers about. If Death can kill Dean the person can his vessel with a twisted soul live. But then where back to Demon Dean again !!!~ Ohhh well 2 nights to go and we’ll all be on here sreaming and yelling and saying did’nt see they coming. LOL
Or can Death kill him for good like Dead Dead no come back as a Demon ??
I think that Dean summoned Death because Death once told him that he will reap God one day so Dean figures that Death should be powerful enough to be able to kill him i.e to reap his soul so that the mark can’t twist it and bring him back.
I still find the implication of it sad. Dean wants to kill himself so he is suicidal, he has given up to a large degree. He must know that it would destroy Sam but he is still willing to leave Sam. Would Dean even be able to go to Heaven and meet Sam there one day if Death killed Dean while Dean had the mark? But I understand that Dean is trying to protect Sam and Cas, he doesn’t want them to end up getting hurt or killed when the mark takes him over like Cain predicted. In addition, he doesn’t want there to be any more collateral damage because of the attempts to cure him.
But maybe Death tells Dean that only God can do what Dean is asking for…
You have the latest clips all ways. Thanks.
A short sneak peek for the finale:

I don’t really like the sound of that. It seems like Sam is being set up to make a huge mistake, which will then be all his fault even though he doesn’t know what the consequences will be but he knows what will happen to Dean if he doesn’t save him.
I am not sure I like where I think this is going. Dean doesn’t need to die, he needs to be cured. What was the point of having him get the mark in the first place if he can just mosey on into the great beyond? He won’t learn anything by that. He’ll end up leaving Sam all alone; the one thing he won’t allow for himself his willing to foist onto his brother. Dean needs to learn somtething about making decisions for other people, trying to run their lives and disturbing the natural order and I don’t see him learning anything if he just makes a deal with death for his own death. I see him escaping and that’s pretty much it. I also don’t see how this includes Sam at all. I don’t see it including the teeny tiny bits of story they’ve eaked out for Sam either. I am worried that the finale will render Sam and his pathetic storyline this year totally superfluous.
PS – Dean probably asks Death to kill him but Death says he can’t or won’t but he can remove the mark of Dean will reap someone for him Who maybe Sam ???
I am sorry, but I see no point in having Dean died or Sam this is getting boring. Why do people have a fascination on the boys dying all the time. Also if this is going to happen why have supernatural come back for season 11. I see no point to this and if one of the boys died like Dean let Sam go on this marry way to make a life for himself. Again I see no point in season 11.
Been thinking that Death offers to remove the mark but only if Dean becomes Death or at least a reaper. Freaking me out waiting for the finale!
But what is the point of a plot line like that? What has Dean becoming a reaper have to do with anything that’s happened I the past two years? And where does that leave Sam? Wallowing in misery without his brother knowing that he got Charlie killed for nothing and that he’s a total failure? Having death fix everything is th worst idea every. I’m praying it doesn’t happen.
Here is the theory I am going with based, not on the show because there is no way of guessing from the show what is going to happen because there is zero continuity, but on the hints from the spoilers and what Jensen, Misha, Jeremy Carver (hisss) etc have said.
Death says that he will take the mark off Dean, Dean is to kill Crowley because Crowley is more dangerous than just a normal demon. Maybe Dean then has to die but also Sam has to have his memory erased so that he wonât know or try to revive Dean. Dean agrees to this under protest and then he tells Sam (because maybe Dean has learned something over the past 3 years) Sam protests violently and says he absolutely doesnât want any of that (he wants to remember Dean and he wants Dean to be alive). This is the cue for all the Sam crying Jensen mentioned. Dean /Death decide to trick him into it happening anyway (because the show will actually NOT remember that Dean has supposedly learned anything over the past 3 years, forget what I said earlier (Samâs feelings, and existence as an independent being will be ignored)).
Sam (realising his memory will not be his own for much longer) lets Castiel / Rowena know that the spell needs to be done now or never. Rowena manages to make the spell work (using the bone-thingy that Castiel has retrieved from the incredibly devious hiding place of the trunk of his car – since he canât travel by celestial light any more) to remove the mark from Dean.
Dean tries to renege on the deal with Death since he doesnât need him any more. Death wonât have it. Someone will drop dead and the writers will decide at that moment, on no evidence at all, on the random person it is to be. It is probably going to be Sa ⌠Cas … Cro … Dean.
Castiel and Rowena merge into one person and become the ultimate ârepresentationâ for absolutely every viewer (allegedly).
Ghost!Dean falls in love with him/her/them, however he finds he is stuck haunting the men of letters basement. Eventually he is joined by Kevin and Charlie and they spend their days playing ghost!poker and drinking … well … spirits (duh).
Castena head off to start a llama farm near Lima. (ETA: you know ‘Rowentiel’ has a sort of LOTR vibe to it as a name … might go with that instead ….)
Death bogs off with Samâs memory and Sam is left wondering what happened. Then he looks around at the mayhem, shrugs his shoulders and heads off to become a hunter making his own decisions and not getting kidnapped, tied up and tortured every week. Handily no other hunter ever mentions he has a brother so Sam never learns the truth. Sam is an excellent hunter and lives to be 100.
Crowley will eventually turn out to be god but it wonât be this week.
Some of this may happen.
ETA: about half way through the composition of this post someone came to visit and brought a bottle of champagne. A couple of glasses may have led to some deviation from my original storyline …
Ha! At least in your version Sam gets some kind of life so I’ll take it.
I also considered giving him a girl- (though I am leaning towards boy-) friend in year 2 of his hunting career.
Eh, makes as much sense as anything Ive read so far…. đ Seriously tho, please no Dean has to become a reaper, Death, the new “Sweets” on the Dr. Pepper commercials, whatever. Please JC, some serious out of the box thinking! No Dean kills Sam for some lame reason that Death decrees , for well, no real reason. How about Dean agrees to whatever Death terms are (the new “Sweets” as previously mentioned) no take backs, but wont remove MOC until Deans task is accomplished, but on their way (cause it looks like Sam and Dean leave the Cantina unscathed) to do just that Rowena successfully casts her spell using the BOTD, releasing a biblical occurrence (frogs, locusts, boils, tic tacs raining from the sky), removing the MOC which breaks the aforementioned no takesies backsies agreement between Death and Dean which then royally ticks him off and he punishes Dean. Or Rowenas spell somehow manages to split Dean in two, the earlier shishkabobbed version cannot live, the MOC/DemonDean now new and improved with less Dean! is the result. Hence the vessel. MOC/DemonDean fully in the drivers seat without any of that pesky Deanness to interfere. No more lousy kareoke for you, sir! I dunno. Thats why Im not a writer for the show. But at least I kept Charlie completely out of my scenario. đ
Well we might as well have a multipicity of Deans I suppose. They could rename the show Orphan Winchester đ
And my post was sans alcohol cause Im stockpiling it up for tomorrow… đ
I am staring early to avoid the rush
Well Ill blame it on you for influencing bad behavior! I caved and started with JW Black. Ive probably got aways to go to catchup with you tho. đ
I’ll play. Death agrees to remove the Mark on the condition that Dean bring him deep dish pizza once a month for the next 20 years. Death won’t take Dean until he has delivered 240 pizza’s all with different toppings. Dean agrees, just as he does, Rowena casts a spell that removes the Mark from Dean and gives it to Sam. Sam is not a cuddly demon like Dean. He doesn’t kill deserving people. He kills nurses and puppies and kittens. Cas convinces Dean that Sam must be stopped. They go to Rowena again. This time she removes the Mark and gives it to Cas. We play who gets the Mark this year until Supernatural is cancelled in season 25 and no one remembers whose turn it is to become a Knight of Hell.
Percy I think it would be far more likely that Dean would bring many many pizzas all with acceptable toppings, no matter what the type or variation – he even gets away with a chocolate and anchovie pizza because he smirks winningly at Death. Then one day Dean is just not able to do the pizza run and Sam is sent instead and he gets pizza with .. dundunduuunnnn pineapple!!!1!!! …. which is just the wrong sort of pizza, so Death freaks out and sends everyone to hell and Sam is left feeling guilty for not knowing the rules of pizza ….
(I have since had cider on top of the champagne from earlier … I also, oddly enough, had pizza).
Dont knock the pineapple on pizza or we will have to shun you! Shuuuuunnnn!!!!!
And Ha! I had a Twisted Tea after my Scotch, thank you verrrry much.
This about as logical as the MoC story has been so it’s probably not too far off.
Jeremy Carver said in his latest interview with TV Line Wednesdayâs Season 10 closer (The CW, 9/8c) promises to deliver on all that, adding up to a finish that will change the landscape of the show âa lot,â executive producer Jeremy Carver promises. Now the Posters for S11 if they are official posters are all Red & Black Dean’s facial features look like Dean but Sam does not. He looks evil.
Now there only posters I know that but The Posters for other Seasons reflect what that season is going to represent. S9 – Falling Angels, . So with this in mind and Carvers words my prediction is ………
Dean & Sam will have a bro moment – but it will be to late Dean will except Deaths proposal which will be to have Sam become Death’s vessel – Sam’s vessel would be the stronger one because of his Demon Blood. This then would catapault them both into hell – where their new landscape for the show will come into it. ??? The re & black posters appear to have a burning hell scene behind both Sam & Dean

Yeah but God love the man whenever he says something is going to be one way, it turns out its not. Even at times in his own damn episodes! What could happen that would change the LANDSCAPE a lot? Guessing is probably futile as its their playground, they can twist and turn it in ways we cant even imagine so I give up on where we will be this time tomorrow with the show. When Rowenas spell is cast it looks like its Crowley and Cas that are right there when the “reaction” occurs knocking everyone back. What did Cas promise Crowley to get him to help? Rowena perhaps? I need another drink!!! Eilf, will you join me?!?
I usually avoid Carver’s interviews like the plague but I caved and read this one. Then I saw Jensen has a photo of Dean in Purgatory (at least it looks like that) as his Facebook header. Could that picture be this season’s version of last years ‘eye opener’ comment from Jensen. Are they going to end up in Purgatory? Is Sam going to end up in hell and Dean has to go find him? At least we don’t have to wait too long now to be put out of our misery. Or put into more misery…:p
I can’t believe it is Carry On my Wayward Son time again. Where did the year go?
Ah, eilf, that champagne sounds a good idea. Unfortunately I’ll be watching tomorrow morning, so it will be just lots of cups of tea for me but perhaps I’ll have a whole packet of chocolate digestives nearby…just in case they are needed…
I’m going to decline the champagne as well Sorry Eilf – but I will join Gwen in a strong cup of tea No coffee – it will be late morning in Australia before I see it as well.
Good Luck to my wonderfull SPN Family who can watch it tonight – don’t cry to many tears or scream to much at the TV. We will all get together tomorrow and commiserate together – sort out who got close to right or how bad we all went. “Carry on My Wayard SPN Fans and Goodluck” Love Jen xxxooo
The face book header looks like purgatory but it could be from the Werther Project ?? – Dean in Purgatory Sam in Hell yeah I could handle that — I like Dark Sam LOL
Thanks for the heads up, Jen!
I did not like reading:
BRO TO BRO | In case you couldnât tell by the above teases, itâs high anxiety and foreboding times for the Winchesters, which doesnât leave much room for âlighter or even more tender brotherly moments,â Carver explains. âGiven where the boys are and where theyâre going in the finale⌠itâs a long, dark way from here to there.â
I’d want to see the brothers be brothers, hug or hold each other, maybe cry a little bit of happy tears đ
I do not believe that Dean will kill Sam, that would totally erode the foundation of the character.
Brother’s Keeper clip
Sam and Rowena (and Cas)
