I do have to apologize, but given the explosive nature of the previous week’s “The Girl Next Door,” including plenty of comments and controversy over the articles on this site, Review Roundup just got lost in the shuffle. So this week’s review roundup includes both recommendations for the most recent “Defending Your LIfe” and a…

Great question’s.
Best Theme entrance music for me would be George Thorogood’s ‘Bad to the Bone’.
Best Monster they fought will always be the Trickster. I loved that character.
He was devious but fun and funny. I still miss him and still very bitter over his demise, along with Bobby’s.
As for how the brothers should go out in the series finale. I would have to go with either they both live or they both die. We have seen what happens when one lives while the other one dies. It has not gone well. I would love for both to either continue with ‘Saving people, hunting things, The family business,’ or they both retire. Dean opens his own car shop and Sam becomes a teacher. However my last pick would be with the brothers going out in a’ Blaze Of Glory’. Both dying, fighting for the cause would be a bitter sweet ending. I would probably cry for weeks…months…every time I thought of Sam and Dean….so daily. 🙂
On a side note, after watching Jared and Jensen in this short interview, I just have to add I love these two. They just brighten my life. I’ve watched many a TV shows in my time but this show, these two….I just can’t explain it. They instil my belief in FRIENDSHIP, FAMILY and most of all, LOVE. Call me a Wuss, a Mindless Worshiper, an Idjit …I don’t care.
I’m here to the end accepting and enduring either both brothers living or dying.
I’ll be there….I’ll be there…..Sorry having a Jackson 5 moment….
I do so agree with you Karen. If the boys go out in “A Blaze of Glory” I don’t think I would survive much longer. I’m still hurting and the tears well up when thinking of this year’s finale. Nonononononnono! A THOUSAND times NO!
They must have a reward. They have earned a reward. Don’t end this series with gut-wrenching pain and regret. End it with real hope and a well-earned reward, whether it’s to keep on going (perhaps with their sons) or just show them with their families (next door to each other, of course) and still on the same page together. I know. Shmoopy and icky and all, but that would soothe my sadness at it ending to know those boys who deserve good stuff and some happiness in their lives do get some and realize it had all been worth it.
I too, love Jensen and Jared and am so grateful they are part of my life. Happy to be a Worshipping Idjit!
Carry on,
You will always remember
Carry on,
Nothing equals the splendor
Now your life’s no longer empty
Surely heaven waits for you
Carry on my wayward son
There’ll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don’t you cry,
Don’t you cry no more,
ETA: Heh I sort of misunderstood Bevies comment (I didn’t see Karen’s) I am not suggesting that COMWS is the only song. I thought she was talking about how the show should end …. and what makes what J2 keep saying so right-seeming (and really not so sad (to me)) is actually in the ‘theme song’ … just seemed poignant.
I thought that would have been the song…but I guess it wasn’t as funny as “if you want my body”.
