Supernatural Score Soundtrack to Be Released September 7th
On September 7th, which just also happens to be the day of the Season Five DVD release, the Official “Supernatural: Original Television Soundtrack – Seasons 1 – 5” is available for purchase as well. This soundtrack actually features the score tracks by longtime “Supernatural” composers Jay Gruska and Christopher Lennertz. As a big fan of their work, it’s nice to see such a collection offered like this. The format will be available in MP3 download and/or CD.
The song titles are certainly eye catchers! My favorites are Isn’t it Bromantic?, Dean’s Dirty Organ, Blood Drops Keep Falling on My Head, and Ruby: So Cute, So Creepy. Actually, those titles remind me of the mock K-Tel-ish commercials on the early days “Saturday Night Live” or “SCTV,” but the music is all that matters! As long as it’s not polka or acapella or Buckwheat sings, we’re good!
For the track listing and song samples, go to amazon.com. If you want to order, kindly click on an Amazon ad somewhere on this page and find the item so the Winchester Family Business gets credit for the sale (that’s true for all Amazon items BTW).
The album is being released by WaterTower Music, which is an affliliate of Warner Brothers. It’s all in the family. Thanks so much to Deborah and Stephanie for the tip!
Heard about this. Can’t wait!
I listened to the clips, and I love this unreasonably. I must have it.
“Hey man, is that Supernatural Rock?”
“Yeah, man!”
“Well, turn it up man!”
$100 of Monopoly money to the first one who gets that reference.
Finally! Woo Hoo, that is going on the “to be purchased” list.
I’m getting that for sure too.
Randal, are you talking about the bit from “Swap Meat” when not/Sam asks Dean to turn up the music?
No Bevie, I think Randal is making a play on a commerical for a 70’s music collection called Freedom Rock.
Am I right Randal? What am I saying about myself that I remember that commercial?? GRIN
Tigershire, do you want that in 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s, 50s or a 100? Or, in K-Tel record collections? 🙂
Laugh!! How about some of each. It’ll remind me of my own currency – all the lovely colours! But please send US Monopoly money, the exchange rate is good right now. GRIN
However, the K-Tel records would look very nice on the shelf next to the Reader’s Digest ABBA, and other CD collections!
