Supernatural Spoiler Roundup – October 14th
There’s been quite a bit of information going around since the Supernatural Season Nine Premiere, so let’s get sharing!
– The bloggers that went on the Supernatural set visit were allowed to share their interview with Jared and Jensen after the episode aired. Below are links to ones by Clarissa at Screen Fad and Vlada at TV Line that I particularly liked. I’m especially intrigued by the reveal that Ezekiel will be in Sam a while and by episode 8 the secret Dean has been keeping from Sam about Ezekiel still won’t be revealed.
– TV Guide and TV Line both got to speak with Jeremy Carver. He was talking a bit about Sam having an “angelic pacemaker” inside him. Here’s the stuff that got me rather excited:
We will get a better indication of Ezekiel’s character, and he seems like he’s as genuine as believed in the season opener. Said Carver, “The trust and everything we saw in Tahmoh when he was playing him, I think we have no reason not to believe this guy.”
Despite Dean’s orders to stay hidden Ezekiel isn’t going to be able to do that very easily. Speaking of Ezekiel, because Dean has lost his support system in both Sam and Castiel, he will strangely turn to Ezekiel for some of that support.
So, is Ezekiel keeps surfacing, will Sam eventually realize something is up? “It’s something I’d rather see play out,” said Carver.
It isn’t just the secret about Sam being possessed by an angel that’s bothering Dean. He’s also very troubled about seeing Sam so willing to give up and die, especially after he had given up everything in the church to keep Sam alive. This is going to be one part of a larger rift between the pair. Although, it’s hard to tell if it’s a real big rift, or just one complicated situation growing out of control.
Here’s a cool quote from Carver about Crowley’s storyline, which kicks off in tomorrow’s episode: “It’s something we delve into rather directly and have a lot of fun with. We find, if I can borrow a fan term, some unexpected feels for a character that maybe we never thought we would feel for. It’s a really interesting portrait we’re painting of Crowley this year that I’m very excited about.”
An angel war is coming too as well as a demon one, as a new angel Bartholomew starts kicking up trouble. And Castiel is homeless, alone, and the reality of the situation begins to hit him hard.
This are just the small highlights. There’s plenty more details in the interviews here:

– Metatron is coming back! Curtis Armstrong, who plays Metatron, tweeted recently that he’s on his way to film to episodes of Supernatural in Vancouver.
Off tomorrow for two more episodes of @_supernatural_ . #Metatron returns! And he’s no angel—he’s a very naughty boy!

– There are tentative titles for Episodes 9.10 and 9.11
9.10 – “Road Trip”
9.11 – “First Born”
That’s all I have for now, but I’ll keep sharing as more info surfaces.
