Supernatural Spoiler Roundup, August 8th
There’s an interesting assembly of spoilers today! Production has started for 9.03 and casting has gone out for 9.04, so the ball keeps rolling.
- This one I find very exciting, because I just love this man! Tahmoh Penikett, who several of you know from “Battlestar Galatica” but I actually remember him from “Dollhouse,” has been cast for a recurring role in “Supernatural!” He’s getting the important role of Ezekiel, who Jeremy Carver mentioned at Comic Con. Carver called him “A dignified warrior angel injured in the fall.” Hmm, warrior angel. They got the right guy! Look for him in the season premiere.
- Let’s go through the episode titles now as we know them.
- 9.01 (filmed as 9.02) – Yeah, I thought I saw the title of this one, but I can’t seem to find it. Anybody?
- 9.02 (filmed as 9.01) – “Devil May Care”
- 9.03 – “I’m No Angel.” It’s about Bartholomew, one of those bureaucrat angels like Naomi who’s been put in charge of organizing the other angels. Good luck with that!
- 9.04 – “Slumber Party.” This is the episode in which Felicia Day (Charlie) is supposed to guest star, so I’m betting money this is the episode Robbie Thompson writes. Plus, it fits with his rotation in the slot last year, which also means that Brad and Eugenie probably get 9.03. Fingers crossed it’s Daniel Loflin though. Anyway, this episode is also supposed to feature a flashback to the 1930’s, so this one likely has the two old hunters from the Men of Letter’s bunker that Sam and Dean are supposed to meet.
- Jeremy Carver talked to a few people at the TCA’s last week, and one of those interviews was with Danielle Turchiano. Carver naturally didn’t give away too many spoilers (I love how spoilerphobic this guy is) but he did tease this about Bobby’s return:
-
- “One beloved characterSupernatural won’t let go of is Bobby (Jim Beaver), who Carver joked he would bring back “a hundred million times” because he simply loves Beaver that much. But Bobby’s death was so powerful and poignant, and Carver is aware that every time you bring a character back post-death it can erode away at the importance of the initial good-bye– for the characters as well as the audience. That is why the show doesn’t constantly bring back long gone characters like Ellen and Ash, Carver said. “And to that point, this year we’re very careful of that. Bobby does not come back in a way that you would expect or in a way that undermines his death,” he promised.

- – There are a couple of people that follow filming locations in Vancouver, and @Canadagraphs recently was there for “Supernatural’s” location shoot. If you to to their twitter, there’s some nice behind the scenes photos with Misha, Jared and Jensen. You get to see Castiel’s new clothes! I normally don’t share behind the scenes photos, but this one is pretty good for anyone wondering what Castiel’s new look is.

There’s also a shot of Sam and Dean coming out of a pharmacy. Check out all of @Canadagraphs tweets for more info and photos.
That’s all for now. There’s plenty more coming out daily, so come back here for the full roundup.

Alice – I read somewhere tat the first episode was called I Think I’m Gonna Like it Here. Not sure if that is right because I cannot remember where I saw it.
Yes your right, that’s what its called.
