Happy New Year to all you amazing fans! Let’s look back on the year gone by to the traditional words of Auld Lang Syne.
Here’s a re-posting of last year’s totally off the wall idea that came from too many holiday celebrations this weekend. The opinions expressed in the presentation are one of Mr. Dean Winchester and not yours truly. Enjoy! ———————————————– The Winchester Family Business Short Attention Span Theater – in honor of Canada Day and 4th of…
Ah, what better theme to reflect on during this heartwarming holiday season than death. After all, there’s just something about this being that emits warm fuzzies. Just ask Dean Winchester, he’s feeling the love! Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
Leave it up to Julie to come up with a way to pay homage to Supernatural via The Sound of Music! Here’s her quirky pictorial set to “My Favorite Things.” Enjoy! Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
Okay all you Bob Seger fans (and those who aren’t), what happens when you mix a poignant classic like “Famous Final Scene” with Julie’s homage to all the Supernatural season finales gone by? This of course. Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
Here’s literally an insane idea I came up with. I think the title will speak for itself. Enjoy my first Winchester Family Business Short Attention Span Theater credit, Crazy! {loadposition slideshow17} Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
In honor of Sam Winchester’s 29th birthday, I’m pulling out this oldie but hilarious goodie from November, 2010. After all, Sam patented this look and should be recognized for it. I present, the 21 Bitchface Salute!! Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
Um, yeah, well, Happy New Year to you too!
I know New Years resolutions rarely stick, but I think Supernatural fans need to resolve to be a lot more positive this year. The negative attitudes are just about killing me.
Good idea, alice. I resolve to try to be more positive in all things.
Happy New Year!
Here, here Alice!
Great pictures, Karen. Thanks for the slide show.
Aw, don’t be sad Alice. I believe there are a lot more positives than negatives. They just don’t post all the time.
I’m plenty positive, and Happy New Year to all you positives and Alice out there, and also to all you negatives.
Our show is still there after eight wonderful years. What’s not to be positive about. (Don’t really want to know) 😀
And Happy New Year to you Karen, for the great pics to the song. Snfff Snffff kleenex please!
Thanks for this Karen, and for the translation to contemporary English! I can’t believe I only know two lines of that song. Some of those pictures were so dotey!
Have yourself a good one.
Nicely done, Karen. It is a little sad, but appreciated. And thanks for the English translation.
That was great, Karen. Thank you!
I guess I never knew there were so many lines to that tune, even though it’s sung every year.
Wishing you a very happy and healthy 2013. And may it be full of Winchesters. 😉
Thank you for the wonderful slide show and seeing those photographs up close. Here is to loved ones past and present and what is over the next hill for us all in 2013.
That’s a really great association of pictures to the words (thank you for using the happy group photo that includes Ellen and Jo!)! This is wonderful and reminds us what the heart of the show is, I love it. 😀
Very nice Karen. Thank you.
Hi everyone, thank you for your comments.
I’m very fond of Scottish poet Robert Burns work, including his Auld Lang Syne.
Although this song does bring on an essence of sadness with making me nostalgic over the people and moments that have affected my life and in remembering those that have moved or passed on, it also brings on a feeling of comfort in cherishing those memories.
It was with this same premise when I put this together. Although there is an essence of sadness when looking at those that has passed on from the brother’s lives, I found looking back at their experiences together made me remember just how strong their relationship and bond really is. It brought back the faith that even though their bond as strayed it will find it’s way back again.
Cheers and Happy Holidays.
And you included Adam…
*wipes away a tear*
that´s so touching.
Thank you
