TV Guide Comic-Con Edition On Newsstands July 10th
As I reported in what has turned out to be one extremely popular (and explosive) spoiler article, I got my hands yesterday on an advanced copy of the TV Guide Comic-Con Edition that will be out this week. According to TV guide, printed on the inside front page, here's info on how you can get your copy:
"This special issue will be available at the Warner Bros. booth at Comic-Con in San Diego, July 11-15, and on newsstands beginning July 10. It will also be available for download on the Nook by Barnes & Noble."
In addition to Nook, the edition will also be available for download on Kindle Fire. Curious what's in this edition? Here's the report I gave on the spoiler article, just in case you don't want to risk spoilers to get the info.
My copy has the gorgeous Winchester Brothers on both the front and back cover, Dean in front in the front cover and Sam in front on the back. The other 3 covers feature casts of "The Vampire Diaries," "The Big Bang Theory," and "Fringe."
The magazine features some big sections for "The Big Bang Theory," "Fringe," "The Vampire Diaries," "Person of Interest," "Nikita," "Children's Hospital," and of course "Supernatural," as well as previews for new shows "666 Park Avenue," "Arrow," "Revolution," "Cult," "The Following," and plenty of DC animation.
The "Supernatural" section is 8 pages long. It features the following:
– "Blood Brothers" – an interview with Jared and Jensen by Ileane Rudolph (no spoilers)
– "The Many Faces of Evil" – a look at the "Supernatural villains by Ileane Rudolph
– "Blood/Alcohol Content" – a breakdown of shooting the swordfight scene with the Shojo in "Party on Garth" by John Hogan
– "The Devil Is In The Details" – a "Supernatural" trivia quiz by Alice Jester (gee, I wonder who that could be???)
– "Burning Questions" – a season 8 preview interview with executive producer Robert Singer by Ileane Rudolph
I've had nothing but pure enjoyment reading this year's edition, so I highly recommend picking up a copy! Some of the highlights for me, there's a fun interview with Maggie Q and Shane West for "Nikita" fans, there's some behind the scenes info from "The Vampire Diaries," "The Big Bang Theory" cast talks about filming the big season 5 wedding finale, there's an alternative universe guide for "Fringe" and there are interviews with each showrunner of the featured shows about what's coming up for the current season.

What in the name of sweet merciful Jesus have they done to the boys?? Oh my God, they have JA looking like Keira Knightley (and did they give him a monobrow?) And did they fill in JP’s eyebrows??? That’s just sacrilege.
Moving swiftly onward, will
”The Devil Is In The Details” – a “Supernatural” trivia quiz by Alice Jester
be posted on the site at some stage? I do like quizzes but unfortunately, I doubt I’ll get my hands on a copy of the magazine. (And congrats, by the way!)
Thanks for the info, I’m on vacation in the States and I’ve been looking for the magazine since I first saw your article, and haven’t been able to find it! Now I know why, it’s not out yet, duh! I hope I find the one with the guys on the cover, although, I’ll be buying it anyway for your quiz, and the other juicy stuff on SPN and other shows that I watch.
Thanks Alice.
I am a huge Supernatural fan and can’t wait to see what they do next season. I would love it even more if they were finally a ble to meet god. That would be a perfect final touch to the whole thing.
