A Spoilery Preview From Executive Producer Robert Singer
EW has posted a great interview with Supernatural Executive Producer Robert Singer about tonight’s episode and what’s to come for the rest of the season. Here’s some of the highlights:
– Tonight’s episode will kick off a 4 part arc involving the Sam/Dean/Castiel relationship.
– John Winchester was considered as someone to return, but once again getting Jeffrey Dean Morgan proved impossible. Luckily, Ellen worked out.
– They’re optimistic about season seven and moving ahead like there will be one.
Check out the whole thing here. It’s a great interview. Oh, and SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Update: Here’s another variation of a spoilery chat with Robert Singer from Zap2It. In this one, he reveals that Lisa and Ben will be back in a very interesting way.
Let’s all cheer.
Hellatus ends in just over two hours. (at least over here on the east coast of the US, sorry) 😆
Cannot wait for all of these little tidbits to come into play. Even though, I am not liking the part about the return of Lisa/Ben. Saw Cindy Sampson on ‘Being Human’ playing ‘Cindy’, with a son named ‘Bernie’, thought I was watching a knock-off of SPN (Jeremy Carver must have loved his former job, because there are alot of SPN in BH).
Bring on the rest of season six.
Thanks, Alice. There’s another Bob Singer interview here with more news: http://www.tvline.com/2011/04/supernatural-preview-western-frontierland-musical-episode/
I’ve been waiting for the Lisa/Ben arc to have an actual point and Bob Singer made the strongest suggestion yet that there will be one in episode 21. If this is a season where ‘no one is what they appear to be’ then it only stands to reason that the Braedens not be what they appear either. My thoughts have been leaning towards Cas somehow being involved, perhaps to keep Dean out of the way the whole Lisa/Ben thing was set up to do just that? Either way I’m a fan glad this particular arc will be ending, I just hope that Dean isn’t left too hurt by the outcome.
Am I the only one who loves Lisa and Ben? I sure don’t want them to have been manipulated into loving Dean by Cas or anyone.
Dean deserved every bit of their love and I for one would like that to continue (off screen most of the time). Don’t want them taking over the show but being there for him every now and again, YES!
